At Adventures with Boots we like to get to know the peninsular geography through snowshoes. That is why we organize your winter excursions through places like the following:

- The Ball of the World in the Sierra de Guadarrama: we will leave from Puerto de Cotos for 5 hours to walk with snowshoes over 10 kilometers. It is a fairly easy route that ascends, first of all, over the Loma del Noruego. The highest point that we will approach exceeds 2,200 meters and is in the Alto de Guarramillas. We will do the same itinerary both there and back.

- La Laguna de Peñalara: it is a route almost half the distance, 6 kilometers, and the same complexity that is almost zero. This point also belongs to the Guadarrama National Park and has the same starting point. However, we will head to the Laguna Grande de Peñalara to see the origin of a glacier that was present 11 thousand years ago.

- Sierra Nevada: if you want to see part of this mountain system using snowshoes, we will do a 3-day expedition from Hoya de la Mora. We will start from the Sierra Nevada Lodge where we will meet with the guide in the afternoon of the first day.

InAventuras con Botas you have the professional equipment you need to learn to climb in the sport climbing modality. If you don't know it, you should know that we use anchors that are already fixed in the rock wall to hold our safety material so that you can ascend without danger.

We dedicate half a day to this type of activity, in the morning or afternoon shift, or the entire day if you prefer. We will do it in groups of 4 people throughout the year, although we recommend those months when temperatures are milder such as spring or autumn.

- You will need: your own individual climbing equipment such as climbing shoes. However, you can ask us to provide it to you if you have just come to this sport and do not have it. You also have to have a certain physical resistance like what you get when walking outdoors.

- We will provide you: the instructor who is a qualified mountain guide to supervise the activity. As individual material we will put the helmet and harness on you. We will also carry all the collective equipment with ropes, tapes and carabiners. We will advise you and explain all the conditions well before starting.

At Aventuras con Botas we take care of the design of your next hiking route, adapting our knowledge to this idea that you have had for a long time. We bring our professionalism to the route you want, although you can also be inspired by some of our suggestions:

- Excursion to discover the Mediterranean forest: a good example of this can be found in Puerto del Arenal. We will take an all-day walk, lasting approximately 7 hours, through the Calares del Mundo Natural Park, which belongs to the province of Albacete.

This itinerary is 16 kilometers long and is easy to do since we will walk along trails, tracks or crossing the forest. The ideal is that we go there in spring and autumn and we will do so in groups of at least 5 people.

- Hiking with dogs: it is an excellent opportunity for those who prefer not to leave their pet at home. They are 13 very comfortable kilometers to complete in just over 6 hours that take the town of Masegosillos as their starting point. We will go in the direction of Calar de la Osera and we will make the first rest stop at the little lake. Keep in mind that your dog must be used to walking for quite some time.

- Hiking in Sierra Madrona and the Valley: a small paradise of nature in the middle of La Mancha where there are corners to discover and where you can travel through time contemplating its cave paintings.

At Aventuras con Botas we have selected several of the most desirable national ferratas for your next expedition. We will start you like this, or we will continue advancing with you, on these vertical routes for which you have the help of materials that are already fixed in advance on the mountain:

- Via ferrata de Priego: we found it in mind and it has hardly any difficulty. It will take up to 4 hours to complete the kilometer of length that it presents. You can request it all year round if you have a group of 3 people that can reach up to 6.

We will approach it by crossing the bridge that crosses the Escabas River to where it is accessed via the CM 2023 road. It will give us the opportunity to try all types of elements, from walkways, to Tibetan bridges or sections of great verticality.

- Via ferrata de la Mocha: it is in Iruela, which belongs to Jaén. It can also be done in less than half a day and has a total length of 560 meters. Its complexity is also between low and medium and it will allow us to see the area near the Sierra de Cazorla Natural Park.
It is advisable that, in addition to wearing sports clothing and shoes, you bring gloves similar to cycling gloves to be able to hold on more comfortably to the cables and steps of the route.

Enjoy the best canyoning in Albacete. In the Calares and Sima Natural Park there is an ideal place for this: the Barranco de los Marines. Descend through the canyons towards the Tus River and test your adventurous spirit.

We will start by walking 20 minutes until we reach the mountainous area in question. There we will put on our neoprene suit to begin the descent through the Arroyo de los Marines canyon. It consists of7 rappels that will test your skills.

The territory also consists of rock slides located next to the pools where you can take a dip to relax before returning to exercise.

You will be able to pass tests and level changes as you go. You will have to walk, swim, jump (both over rock and waterfalls) in a complete experience.

You will not need previous experience, you will be offered technical advice and constant monitoring during the session. We will not take you through dangerous terrain or areas that you do not want.

It is a very complete activity that takes advantage of a location, in the southwest of Albacete in a natural area of 19 thousand hectares. Inside you will see and pass through valleys, ravines or natural pools.
