Racquet excursion at the Bola del Mundo 5h

Are you going to visit the Sierra de Guadarrama this winter? Well, it is a great opportunity for you to take advantage and sign up for a journey to the Bola del Mundo, walking with snowshoes.

This tour will begin in the Puerto de Cotos parking lot, where you will meet the professional guides, who will give you the equipment and explain how you should use it correctly.

Once ready, we will walk up the Loma del Noruego, towards the Peña del Águila. From here we will continue ascending until we reach Alto de Guarramillas, also called "the Ball of the World", whose height is 2262 meters.

We will rest while enjoying the views of the entire Sierra de Gredos, especially Peñalara, which stands out in Guadarrama, with its 2428 meters. Once we have recovered our breath, we will take the same itinerary again, but in the opposite direction, to return to the starting point and finish the tour at Venta Marcelino, in Cotos. In total we will have completed about 10 kilometers.

It is a path-type itinerary, of medium-low difficulty. It is enough that you are used to hiking so that you can sign up for the activity.

You will have to come with mountain clothing, boots, a backpack with a small picnic and a drink. You will also need sunscreen and sunglasses.
