Deal overview
If you want to prepare a snowshoe route this winter in Sierra Nevada, our advice is not to settle for too much. Come all weekend long to feel the authentic winter experience!
On the day of your arrival you will settle into the Sierra Nevada University Hostel, where you will spend the next two nights, enjoying a half-board regime.
For day 2, a snowshoe crossing to El Veleta is planned. Depending on the energy of the participants, we will be able to reach the summit, from where we can even see African territory. Throughout this excursion we will pass by the San Juan ravine. There will be 12 kilometers in total.
The route for the last day will start from Hoya de la Mora towards the part of the Peñones de San Francisco. It is a half-day excursion (an extension of 7 km), which allows us to dedicate the rest of the day to enjoy this environment, before returning to your homes.
The difficulty level is medium-low. You have to be used to taking excursions of several hours to be able to face the program without problems.
