Baptism climbing and rappelling San Carlos Del Valle

To get started in mountain sports, it is advisable to attend a baptism, since these courses are especially designed for people who, without any previous experience, can begin to enjoy without risks. For 3 or 4 hours, we will present you with sport climbing equipment that uses systems previously anchored to the wall. This will allow you to concentrate on the climbing technique that we will teach you.

In addition, you will learn to rappel, this technique is widely used in all mountain sports, whether in excursions, caving or canyoning. We will leave from the Plaza de San Carlos del Valle at approximately 9:30, and we will all leave for the climbing site. In this experience you will travel 15 meters, which although it seems little, you have to keep in mind that we will learn about all the anchors and harnesses.

At the end of the course you will be able to climb walls of difficulty 4 and 5. You will even learn the gestural systems used by climbers, you will tie basic knots learning how to secure yourself and you will know the type of fixation systems that exist. Although you will find all of these systems already strategically placed along the route, you will be able to recognize points where they can be placed to expand the climbing possibilities, significantly increasing the difficulty.

The minimum to come to complete this baptism course will be 2 people. The group will have a maximum of 8 people, which we consider to be the maximum so that all participants can safely learn the principles of this exciting sport.
