We propose a hiking route of about 3-4 hours through the areas of the Calares del Río Mundo Natural Park, in Albacete, to the Cueva de los Chorros.
Meeting early in the morning at the Port of Arenal to go by car to the Chorros parking lot and where the walk will begin.
The route is not very long, it is only about 6 kilometers, but the "complicated" thing is going up to the cave with the great unevenness that exists, you even have to cross a part of the Mundo River where the slope is notable.
The ascent will continue to the highest part called "the great wall" where we will be helped by handrails, anchor ropes and harnesses to be able to pass it. We will enter the first part of the cave and we will be able to see how cold the water comes from theCalar de la Sima.
We will rest and recharge our batteries with a mini lunch while we delight in the Alcaraz mountain range and descend back to the starting point.
We recommend this route due to its high landscape value and, without a doubt, for hiking lovers it is wonderful to travel this section along the Mundo River to the Cueva de los Chorros.
