Tips if you are going to do Abseiling in Spain

For those who doesn’t know so much about rappelling, we will help you. So, this is about a descend technique through a rocky wall with the help of a rope. This is used, a lot of times, in canyoning and is not at all dangerous… This is just an exciting and fun way to pass a day whilst in contact with the most extreme nature sights.

Nowadays, each time, there are more people looking for stronger emotions and rappelling is one of the best ways to liberate tension.

1. It tones the body in a subtle way



Because you work with your own body weight, is to say, by not having to endure more weight when “releasing rope” with your own hands, your body does not suffers, excessively, beyond the later muscle soreness you may have.

Thats why when you practice rappelling, of course you are exercising, but in a much more subtle way than with other more aggressive sports and that you musculate more, toning your figure in a very beautiful way.

2. Safety above all



It doesn’t matter how risky rappelling looks like, it is just one of the safest practices you could ever imagined. The experts take charge and make sure that all the safety material is available: harness, anchors and ropes are under perfect conditions before starting.

This is a really exhausting check that guarantees us that we will carry out a high-quality desdend, and above all, with a lot of tranquility. The percentage of accidents that occur whilst rappelling is really inferior in comparison with all the rest of extreme and risky sports. So, you don’t need to worry about anything!

3. The best views



When you start the descent, whether in the mountains or in a river, you will enjoy the advantages when talking about sights. You can enjoy privileged views, looking everything whilst descending with the ropes and getting amazed with the richness that mother nature provides.

You enjoy all the elements that the environment has: vegetation, air, mountains, water… You will enjoy everything.

4. Put yourself into test



Rappelling takes your brave and risky side out. This is an excellent way to know up to where you are capable of and how much confidence you have in yourself.

The adrenaline, excitement and the nerves will be very high when rappelling, that’s why you need to know very well what you are going to do, and stay calm and confident, and also feel the eagerness to have fun.

5. Companionship and confidence



Whilst rappelling, the confidence (almost) fellowship is imprescindible. Remember that between the two, or he/she is the expert one, it all depends in all the security that this exercise entails.

This is a great and adventurer way to strengthen relationships and secure a friendship based in adrenaline and fun times. Not everyone is ready to “jump in a ravine” so, when you find that friend, don’t let him/her go.

When to go rappelling?



Like almost everything, it depends. If you would like to go rappelling in a water ravine, you’ll need to wait for the Autumn-Spring season, when the precipitations are more abundant.

If, in the contrary, you prefer a dry ravine, which you’ll only participate the mountains and you, it doesn’t matter as long as the place you choose is far from the rivers and waterfall so it does not interfere your practice.

But, above all, what you need to remember is that the climate conditions are de adequate one to carry out this activity with total security.
