Whether you are looking for a quiet walk or an exciting descent, in the Cazorla area there are perfect places for you.

If you want something gentle, ideal for going as a couple, with children, or with older people, you can navigate the calm waters of the Tranco reservoir, located in Bujaraiza, which hides an ancient Arab village under its waters. It is a way of doing this sport adding a touch of history to our excursions. In this way we will get to know the area in question from a perspective that is not the one presented in the books.

On the other hand, if you like strong emotions, we recommend the descent of the Guadalquivir, from Charco de Aceite. It is a 9 km stretch, with white water, ideal for adventurers. You will have to work a little harder to stay inside the kayak while the river resists your route along its channel.

Generally, we work two routes, although we can always prepare a different route, if that is what you are looking for. The two routes that we do are:

• Hiking in Prado Redondo.
• Historical Route through Cazorla.

- On the Prado Redondo route, we will go up the Camino de las Ánimas, to the Pico de la Mocha. At this point, we will enjoy some extraordinary views of both Iruela and the Jaén countryside.

We will continue towards Prado Redondo, an old forestry house, where we can appreciate the ancient agriculture that was practiced in the mountain >around the 50s.

Although the house is already in ruins, you can distinguish the different rooms that made it up.

We will return to the path to theHermitage of the Virgen de la Cabeza, and we will enjoy the panoramic view of the town of Cazorla. We will pass by the Iruela Castle, and we will reach the starting point, ending the route.

- As for the historical route, it runs through the old town of Cazorla. We will visit the following places:

The mountain bikes that we use are mid-range, with change of crowns and sprockets, and front cushioning .
