At Selene we have been developing various sports and leisure activities since 1999. Located in Abruncena, Almería, we have fully equipped facilities for practicing all the proposals that we have programmed for you.
In our offer you can find:
- Hiking: activity aimed at all people who want to practice it. While you do it, you will enjoy the natural landscapes that the area offers. Accompanied by guides/instructors who know the routes perfectly.
- Climbing: this activity is carried out both in our climbing wall and on rock, always depending on the level of each person. We have all the security systems approved and in perfect condition for use.
- Archery: activity aimed at those who seek to refine their aim, regardless of the level of experience you have, we adapt since our instructors offer personalized and courteous treatment. quality. We provide all the necessary materials: bow, arrows, targets, etc.
- Rappelling: always exciting and fun. You can practice this technique in complete safety on a dam, also combining the activity with a hiking route.

At Selene Senderismo we have the opportunity to offer you everything related to this modality.
For people who practice hiking with us, they will not only take the route but will also enjoy a natural and cultural landscape throughout the duration of the tour.
We only do the hiking routes if the group has a minimum of 12 people. Depending on your level, we will recommend some routes or others that differ from each other in the length of the route.
This sport is affordable for everyone since the difficulty required is not high.
The hiking will be carried out in two areas mainly: Sierra Nevada National Park and Sierra Alhamilla.
The user is recommended to come equipped with comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear for the activity.
At all times the participants will be supervised and accompanied by a series of guides and instructors who know perfectly the areas where hiking takes place.

At Selene Tiro con Arco we offer you the opportunity to practice this ancient and fun modality. In our center we have all the necessary materials to practice archery: arrows, bows, targets, supports, etc.

In the Paredes Nature Classroom (Sierra Nevada Natural Park) you can do this activity in one of its large esplanades.
Our monitors are fully qualified to supervise the activity and help you at all times. They have all the necessary qualifications to teach shooting classes.
This sport can be practiced by all people who want it, regardless of age or experience since the level of difficulty required is very low.
The number of people to be able to practice archery must be 12 people minimum.

Summary Multi Adventure Camps
In the Paredes Nature Classroom we hold camps for boys and girls at Easter and during the summer holidays. We differentiate shifts based on different age ranges and duration.
These days the relationship with the natural environment, sports and games will be the common points, with accommodation in our own buildings and homemade menus adaptable to the dietary singularities of the participants. Each day we will follow a schedule designed as follows:
- We get up at 9 a.m. and take advantage of the first moments to collect our things and leave our bed tidy. After breakfast we prepare for the main activity planned for the day: climbing, archery, orienteering, tracking games... Just before lunchtime we can swim in the pool.
- We eat at 2 p.m., we rest for a while and it will be the turn of the workshops on crafts, recycling, basket weaving, aromatic plants or types of alternative energy, among other possibilities.
- At 6 p.m. we will have a snack and we will meet again to play and share our time doing fun gymkhanas.
- Just before dinner, which will be at 9 p.m., we clean up a little. When we finish we will have fun evenings with the monitors. There will also be special days such as excursions in Als where we will rappel down a waterfall and nights in which we will camp in the complex itself and an end-of-camp party.
Summary English Camps
The camps will be held in a period of 7 days for children from 8 to 16 years old and 4 days for the little ones (6 to 8 years old). And the activities will be directed by native and bilingual teachers.
What will we do?
- At 9 in the morning we will start having breakfast.Then we will hold a meeting to organize the day.
- Throughout the morning, we will do some sports activity, such as climbing. orienteering, tracking or archery and then we will continue having fun in the pool where we will organize different games.
- At 2 p.m. we will eat. After having filled our stomachs we will have competitions with different board games. Who will be the winner?
- Next we continue practicing English with fun games so that all participants can loosen up in the language.
- At 6 p.m. we will have a snack to continue with other very varied activities and workshops: gymkhanas, making homemade cakes and a long etcetera.
- At 9 p.m. we will have dinner and then we will enjoy dancing, singing, telling legends, night excursions to see the stars...
We also have special days with excursions and camping.
All children and young people must be prepared for the occasion. You cannot forget: a cap, water bottle, small backpack, flashlight, towel, flip flops, sneakers, socks, sleeping bag...all the essential material to feel like a true explorer!
