Company Overview
The Sierra de la Demanda is the environment that in Beloaventura we use to develop our activities. Based in the town of Belorado, we have what you need and more every time you feel like doing something different and outdoors in the north of the capital of Burgos.
Our main features are a summary of what you may need for your leisure time:
- To sleep: we have our own youth hostel with large capacity. Its great advantage is that it is located just over twenty kilometers from the French Camino de Santiago, making it the perfect place if you are passing through as a pilgrim.
- To practice active sports: in Garanchón we have installed a multi-adventure park where you can climb, rappel and try a vertigo zip line 15 meters above the ground.
- To try extreme disciplines or for the whole family: we can go to the Pedroso canyon for a canyon descent, to explore the Fuentemolinos cave, to take a bicycle, walking or off-road excursion. We can also make you paraglide or participate in a paintball battle or an archery session.
Summary Paintball
Beloaventura makes you an invitation that is difficult to refuse: A paintball battle in one of the two fields that we have arranged in the area of Belorado, in the east of the province of Burgos. Eliminating the rival and taking the flag are the two star modes of our game offer. Between forests and undergrowth or between abandoned houses.
We are divided into two camps that have different characteristics that also lead to different battles:
- In the Pinar de Cepeda: Located in the municipality of Belorado you will find a closed field full of pine trees and bushes with wooden parapets and other elements in which it will be easy to hide from the rival.
- Urban paintball in the abandoned town of Castril de Carrias: Here the games go more slowly since the abandoned houses are very good for hiding, so strategy will be even more important if possible.
The referees will ensure that certain rules established for the development of the chosen game are respected.
You will have the security elements and the marker gun available from the organization.
Summary Hiking
We have a selection of routes among which these stand out:
- Ascension to San Millán peak, which we will reach starting from Santa Cruz del Valle Urbión
- Pozo Negro from Fresneda
- Santa Cruz Waterfalls
- Alba Swamp
- Circular route to Eterna
You will have a map of the chosen route as well as a drink.
We will explore roads, paths, paths, Roman roads and other routes discovering the natural environment of Burgos and the north of Soria.

Despite its 200,000 years of history, archery continues to attract due to the simplicity of its handling and its great effectiveness. Formerly used for hunting, now you will use it for recreational and leisure purposes.
You will have a recurve bow and plenty of arrows to practice and prepare for the competition.
A good number of targets placed at different distances will determine who is the best archer of the day.

Summary Caving
The cavity was formed approximately 35 million years ago by calcareous materials of large cemented boulders. This composition prevents the appearance of caves in most cases, and even less extensive caves like the one at Fuentemolinos.
Visit this geological rarity in the province of Burgos, near the town of Puras de Villafranca, between the Demanda mountain range and the Oca mountains.
The speleological tour that we propose lasts about 4 or 5 hours with an underground river that crosses the 4 km surveyed cave.
The expedition guide will be in charge of taking the group to the beginning of the cave and directing them inside, describing the most interesting things they find.
He will also deliver all the necessary material inside the cavity.
Summary Mountain Biking
The roads near Belorado are quite affordable and do not require meticulous preparation to undertake them safely. They provide pleasant walks with beautiful views of the Demanda mountain range.
If your legs are used to suffering steep slopes, we recommend the forest trails that climb the slopes of La Demanda, between peaks of almost 2,000 meters and extensive forests. The surface of the roads is excellent which helps to ride on the slopes.
You will have your mountain bike in perfect condition and the company of the guide to do the route that you most want to do.
There are itineraries that do not exceed 2 hours and others that can last more than 5 hours.
Summary High Ropes
This zip line is located near our Belorado center, about 15 km away.
You can do this activity as part of a multi-adventure pack that also includes climbing and rappelling.
You will cover a considerable height and a long distance in a few seconds.For half a day you can repeat the experience as many times as you want.
The zip line has a braking system to control the speed at the end of the journey. To make the journey safer, it is required to measure at least 1.40 meters.
Our instructors will secure you properly with the safety harness and provide you with a drink during the day.
Summary Abseiling
In Garganchón, just 15 km from our Belorado center in the east of Burgos and at the foot of the Demanda mountain range, we attack the rock walls in the multi-adventure park that we have set up.
Those who already know rappelling well also have their place with intricate routes in which they will have to demonstrate a lot of skill and good handling of the ropes and bindings.
For beginners, it is important to focus on securing their feet in the support areas and not on looking down, a fundamental premise for concentrating on rappelling.
We include the practice of rappelling with climbing and descents along our zip line among the forests in a multi-adventure pack very exciting and full of strong sensations.
Summary Canyoning
Beloaventura offers you the descent of the Pedroso ravine, 40 minutes from Belorado, in the province of Burgos. Live the canyoning intensely with all the adventures you can imagine where the liquid element is very present.
It lasts approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes and we take care of the transportation to the head of the ravine that we will find fifty kilometers from the Burgos town of Belorado and only 16 km from Nájera, already inside from the limit of La Rioja.
It issuitable for all audiences and it is not essential to know how to swim, although it is recommended since within the same channel you can choose several channels that increase or decrease the difficulty of the activity.
You will enjoy 3 rappels of 6 meters, another of 8 meters and another two of 4 meters if you dare to descend with a rope in its various water jumps.
The ravine has water all year round, but especially in spring and autumn, the appropriate months to go down it are between April and October which is when we will be safer due to the conditions of the river on these dates.
