"I did this kayak route in the summer and, overall, I found it to be a very entertaining activity. The tour was beautiful and relaxing, ideal to disconnect and enjoy the surroundings. Of course, with the high temperatures and the distance of the journey, at times it became a little monotonous and somewhat tiring. Still, I recommend it as a good outdoor experience for those looking for a different and refreshing activity."

Tips if you are going to do Kayaking in Spain

The kayaks, those "means of transportation" that you do not know if you're going to like or it will cost you a life to paddle, are undoubtedly one of the most fun and complete adventure sports that exist. In addition, the fact that you can use them in sea or river, in winter or summer, with children or none... Gives you endless options to enjoy a very fun day.

1. You can reach unique places



Whether on the river or in the sea, there are always wonderful places to visit but sometimes they are not accessible or it is difficult to reach on foot. But with a kayak you can access anywhere, whether miles away from the shore or in hard-to-access rocky areas.

2. If you love nature… This is your sport



There are people that just can’t spend their leisure time without any type of contact with nature. Once you go kayaking, apart than practicing this sport, you will be surrounded by an incredible and pure environment: without fumes, no noise pollution… Just you, the waters, the mountains or the immensity of the sea. The limit does not exists, only what your arms endure paddling and what your mind needs to disconnect.

3. A complete aerobic exercise



It is foolish to ignore this point because sometimes it is what interests us the most. How much is burned practicing "kayaking"? It is estimated that in a good session of this canoe variety you can lose up to 400 kcal. We are talking about 1 hour in which you do not even realize that you are exercising so many muscles, increasing your resistance and improving your respiratory system.

4. Always with friends, for real



Generally, the kayas are two-seaters, even three-seaters. You can paddle with a friend, your partner, your father/mother or child… The case is to have a great time by paddling whilst meeting incredible corners with the person you choose, and if you arrange a group to go kayaking… better. You choose where to do it, if on calm or white waters, depends of the desire for emotion and effort that you have, but each one has its good part. Calm waters? You can take even small children. Waters of great current? Laughter and adrenaline assured.

5. Healthy mind, healthy body



To practice kayaking improves psychic aspects that sometimes is difficult to work, either because you are more introverted, or because you do not find a group of people with whom you feel completely comfortable. Of course, teamwork is a very important part to take into account in this practice, because if you do not row in unison with the other, it can be a tedious and difficult journey. But self-confidence is as important as what else, because it benefits you in your day to day and in any environment.

When to go kayaking?



The truth that an exact or concrete season to go kayaking does not exists since because is one of the best activities that can adapt to any plan or group. You have to take into account your preferences, if you like a quiet environment or a white water course; with whom you are going to do it, if alone, as a couple or with children; If you like the rain, the mountain or the sun to sunbath, you can do it both in summer and in winter with a good neoprene suit... What is clear is that whatever option you choose, it is a great plan.
