At León Aventura Canoas we give you the opportunity to rent our boats so you can enjoy this activity in the Selga reservoir and also to go down the Luna River . In summer, only adults can do this activity, since here the flow of the river is high and the rest of the year it can be practiced by anyone who wishes.

The duration of this activity is between 2 and 3 hours and we have different types of offers for you.
We offer different initiation courses: the first is a single day with a duration of 6 hours where they will be divided into two classes of 3 hours each. And a course of two double days with 12 hours duration, 6 hours each day.

This sport can be done calmly or also in white water depending on your tastes, you choose.
Our boats are of top quality and have all the necessary safety systems, they are self-emptying and made of resistant material.

Get on a kayak and experience the most refreshing and fun sensations descending the Luna River, north of the province of León between narrow valleys. All this from the hand of León Aventura! With our introductory courses you can also take the first steps if you have no experience.

At León Aventura we propose quick descents down this high mountain river in 2 hours of descent in which you will not have time to be distracted by anything else. You will follow the instructor down the river with the rest of the group in single or two-seater kayaks.

The summer season is the ideal time to undertake this descent by kayak since the opening of the reservoir allows for a greater amount of water and more speed on the descent.

The initiation course to learn kayak mastery techniques is made up of two proposals:

• 1 day of 6 hours divided into 2 batches of 3 hours with a stop for lunch

• 2 days of 12 hours in total divided into 6 hours with 2 meals

The double paddle kayak paddle, helmet and neoprene will be provided by our team when we are ready to get on the boat.

We give you the option to choose between a good number of places suitable for canyoning or canyoning. Choose the one you most want to do and we will provide a guide who will make the descent with you.

The crossings usually last for 2 and 3 hours, adding 1 more hour to get closer to the area where the descent begins, which is usually a high place on the mountain.

The abundant rains that fall in this area ensure a good flow of water all year round, so you will enjoy crossing the liquid element between the different torrents.

The difficulty of the descents varies depending on the section and the ravine, and in certain places it is possible to go around these points and reconnect further down.

You will have the canyoning equipment necessary to descend and explore the waters: Boots, neoprene, ropes, harness, etc.

At León Aventura Rafting we want you to try this fantastic and fun water sport with your friends or family. Located in León we carry out this activity in the Proma and Esla rivers.

This activity will be carried out exclusively in the summer months when the water level of the rivers is higher as the gates of the reservoir are opened to irrigate the fields.

We have several different levels of difficulty in which participants can choose according to their tastes and needs.
The approximate duration of the activity ranges between 2 and 3 hours. To be able to participate in this activity you must be over 8 years old and know how to swim.

We have a team of instructors who will teach you everything necessary to be able to descend the rivers and who will supervise your movements and ensure safety at all times.

The materials we use are of the highest quality and the rafts are in perfect condition.
We include the raft, helmets, life jackets, neoprene suits and everything you need.

In the winter season, when the snow covers all the Leonese mountains with a thick white blanket, we take out the snowshoes and walk along its slopes and peaks with great comfort, enjoying the snowy landscape. We can take you through the resplendent landscapes of Bierzo during the winter months, accompanying the experience with a warm drink that comforts you.

These utensils, used for a long time by locals in mountain areas, allow for an easy walk through the snow, as they prevent you from sinking.

We will access any part of the mountain that we want, the snow will not be an obstacle to our hiking through the mountain.

We have snow crossings for a very different type of groups, from short walks for the whole family to long walks reaching the very tops of the mountains for the most daring.

From the starting point to the arrival point you will be accompanied by a guide who will show you the best path to follow, also providing us with curiosities and information about the region we travel through.

The mountain nature of León with its valleys, rivers, lush vegetation and wild fauna will be very close to you with our hiking itineraries. A very healthy and at the same time instructive activity since it allows us to learn many things about our natural environment. The Leonese mountains are home to a multitude of species in their forests such as deer, wild boar and wolves, classics of Spanish geography.

The routes we undertake usually have an approximate duration of between 3 and 4 hours, becoming longer depending on the number of stops we make to rest.

There are several possibilities in terms of the itineraries, increasing the slope and therefore the difficulty based on what you ask of us. Choose your preferred itinerary based on the one that best suits you and your group.

To go out into the mountains we need to form groups of at least 10 people who will have their guide throughout the journey.
