Caving canyoning to Sima de Perlas Val Porquero

This is a call to all canyoning lovers! If you already have experience in canyoning, but the experience falls short and no longer fills you like it used to, we have the definitive canyoning experience for you, which will speed up your pulse. To such an extent that you won't remember the last time you felt something similar. We have prepared a speleocanyoning route in the Leonese town of Val Porquero through the Sima de Perlas that will leave you astonished and that will take 5 hours to complete.

We repeat that it is necessary to have experience, because the feats that must be performed are of another category, but the sensations are truly intoxicating, since you will never go as deep into nature as with this plan, with which, furthermore, you will not have to organize anything, It will only be about enjoying, since we will give you all the necessary material and an expert guide to have a good time with complete peace of mind.

We will descend through the stretches of water that we find in Valquierero until we end up in the Sima de Perlas, where we will access the cave. We will enter it from the Atalaya viewpoint, which is located at 1,410 meters above sea level and from where we can contemplate the magnitude of the valleys that embrace the Torío River. Pure and intense adventure awaits us immediately, as we will begin 3 rappelling descents in a chain until we reach the La Campana vault, where another rappelling descent awaits us of 28 impressive meters, where we will see ourselves surrounded by imposing and gloomy stalactites and stalagmites.

We will continue walking among more rock formations of curious shapes until we are amazed when we discover that in this cave, we will find the crystalline Pearl Lake. Once we overcome it, we will make our way between narrow walkways until we find one of the most adrenaline sensations of all, a 100 meter high rappel descent, which due to its altitude, is divided into 3 parts and that will make us land in an underground river. To put ourselves in context, that is what a football field measures.

At this point, we would have completed the Sima de Perlas, where we will hook up and continue along the water course until we reach the tourist beginning of the cave. What remains of the tour, which is more than 2 kilometers, we will enjoy the purest fun swimming in natural underground pools, even more rappelling, jumping into pools and sliding down slides.

We will reach the outside by crossingthe well-known M pass through Covona, where we will connect with the Folfoguera ravine, where more rappelling descents await us, specifically 2, and above, 26 meters. As you can see, the adventure and adrenaline is constant and awaits us in every corner. Finally our speleocanyoning route culminates in the Torio River, at the foot of the Hoces de Vegacervera, which is a Reserve of the Los Argüellos Biosphere, so rest assured that our adventure will end with the most beautiful landscapes we could wish for and that you can remember whenever you want because at the exit we will have a reportphotographic.
