Snowshoeing to Picos de Europa in Valdeón 3 hours

The emblematic Picos de Europa are waiting to be explored by us with a snowshoe route that will surprise all our senses. Our snowshoe excursion will be between the Leonese regions of Tierra de la Reina and Valdeón, through the Puerto de Pandetrave and it will take us between 3 and Approximately 4 hours depending on the pace of the group.

We will not need anything except entering the route in the navigator and coming fully covered with snow clothing, mountain boots, something to eat and drink and sun cream. We will give you all the technical materials necessary to carry out the snowshoe excursion, a hot drink to replenish your energy and, in addition, an expert mountain guide will accompany you throughout the trip.

We will do our snowshoe route around the port of Pandetrave itself. This, as well as our meeting point, will also be the starting point, and we will undertake a circular route around the Pandetrave port to delight in magnificent views of the Valedón Valley strong>.

We will begin our snowshoe route from an exit to the left of the Puerto de Pandetrave, close to the viewpoint. Our snowshoe ascent will take us to reach an altitude of 1562 meters and at such heights we will be able to contemplate in all their splendor the central massif and the western massif of the Picos de Europa . We will travel along snow-filled roads and in a short time we will reach the slopes of Gabanceda Peak. Once we walk through these places embraced by this great mountain, our return begins.
