In the ravines of the Pyrenees and the Sierra de Guara in the province of Huesca, canyoneering is a simply spectacular activity. The Jaca Guide Company takes you through an incredible variety of routes and levels of difficulty, each more surprising.

Especially the Sierra de Guara contains a number of unusual ravines, with itineraries full of magnificent landscapes between rock cuts, waterfalls and pools. And if what you like are the vertical ravines and the more flowing canyons of the Pyrenees, you will fall in love with them.

You can go through all these places well equipped with harnesses, ropes, helmet and other material. We will form expeditions with groups of similar level through the ravine that adapts to your conditions.

We can find up to 3 levels of canyons, allowing you to start canyoning with the first ones and progress from there until you undertake the most exciting and technical routes.

None of the descents is less than 2 hours long, also taking into account about 30 minutes of approach to the starting point of the descent.

Jaca Guide Company organizes rafting days on the Ara, Ésera and Gállego rivers among beautiful high mountain valleys. Although you will not have much time to admire the landscape since the descents will require all your attention to avoid the obstacles in the riverbed. You have to try to maintain balance and organize the rows. Don't worry if you fall into the water, get on the boat and start again.

Up to 9 people plus the invaluable presence of the monitor will make up the river route along the river. There are different difficulties in terms of water characteristics, some more bearable and others very wild with large rapids and waterfalls.

We will equip you with all the rafting material so that you can only focus on getting a good grip on the handle of the raft and rowing hard to maintain the stability of the boat.

The whitewater descent mode of hydrospeed is possibly the one that provokes the most intense sensations since it descends practically level with the river water. If you dare to check it out for yourself, we will provide you with a board and accompany you along the Gállego River bed so you can try it out.

We go down this river that runs through the Tena valley on the way to Sabiñánigo between rapid waters with jumps and turbulent areas ideal for practicing hydrospeed.

You will need a first contact and some brief prior explanations to get used to the handling of the board and the sensation of having fins on your feet, essential for propelling yourself through the water. If you like great emotions, this will be an incredible activity that you will surely want to repeat. Enjoy and discharge all the adrenaline to feel like a fish in water.

The duration of the descent will be between 1 hour and a half and 2 hours during which a guide will follow the entire group down the river.

You will be able to experience the fantastic sensations of speed and freshness while you describe incessant curves and almost surf the waters.

Jaca Guide Company takes you off the ski slopes and takes you off-piste to practice the so-called freeride on slopes with almost intact snow and it is a real joy to ski. We move around the ski resorts of Astún and Candanchú.

Whether or not you know how to ski, it is highly advisable that you join our off-piste ski courses since the snow conditions are different from those found inside the resort. In addition, there are more surprise elements having to execute different maneuvers. When you finish the experience you will want to repeat it again and you will know how to handle yourself in different snowy terrains,

We have three levels of difficulty according to each person's skills in off-piste skiing. Our groups will have a maximum of 6 students per monitor. So don't worry if you are not an expert, you can go on terrain that is more advisable for your level of experience in the snow.

The duration of the classes will be2 hours.

The ski slopes of the Astún and Candanchú resorts in the Pyrenees of Huesca are two perfect places for you to come and practice your favorite winter sport, snowboard.

With our group or individual classes you will have a wonderful opportunity to increase your technique and skills on the snowboard. Feel like an acrobat while testing your power in the snow.

You will be able to try new maneuvers and go down slopes that you have never dared to go down. We will even do off-piste descents to experience new sensations. There is no better way to release tension than to slide on a board and feel the speed firsthand.

It doesn't matter if you have an expert or beginner level, the instructors will be with you and will give you the keys so that you know how to handle yourself without problem in each of the enclaves adapted for this activity.

Either with 2-day or 5-day classes from Monday to Friday with 2 hours a day our team of instructors will do everything possible so that you have a pleasant time and progress in your level.

The high Pyrenean mountains and their splendid snowy winter landscapes are a spectacle that you cannot miss. We put our snowshoes on your feet so you can go out with us for a walk in the snow and see everything the Pyrenees has to offer.

Snowshoeing is one of the most pleasant and simple winter activities there is. They do not require a refined technique nor notable physical conditions and/or aptitudes.

We take as a base the area of the ski resorts of Astún and Candanchú, near the Port of Somport. From there we leave through the forests on the way to the most absolute tranquility provided by the mountains and valleys of the Pyrenees.

Join us and try one of our journeys:

• Half-day snowshoe route: Simple routes without much elevation around the stations.
• Full day excursion: We look for some peaks such as Pic de Moines or Aspe and areas of great beauty such as the Hallas Forest or the Anayet lakes.
• 2 days of crossing: Authentic snowshoe adventure with a night in a shelter doing circular routes between the Franco-Spanish border.

The group ratio ranges from a minimum of 2 people to a maximum of 12 people.

What routes do we do? Here are some proposals for one or several days through the Spanish and French Pyrenees:

• Circuit through the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park: We go from refuge to refuge through this fantastic protected environment through the GR-11 long-distance trail.
• By the Jacetania lakes: We leave from Jaca to visit these geological formations so typical of the Pyrenees. Every day we return to Jaca to spend the night.
• Peaks of the Pyrenees: We look for the most accessible routes possible to undertake the largest colossi of the Aragonese Pyrenees above 3,000 meters of altitude. Peaks such as those of Aneto, Vignemale or Posets.

With each guide there will be no more than 2 people so that the safety of the progressions along the route is guaranteed as much as possible and you can thus enjoy your climbs with the guide much more.

If you still know the spectacular routes provided by the via ferrata it is a good time for you to come with us through the ravines and rock walls in the Pyrenees of Huesca.

The via ferratas are equipped with different elements that facilitate our progression through incredible abrupt and steep landscapes. As long as you don't suffer from vertigo you are fully prepared to try one of these routes.

We take you through Tibetan bridges, handrails, ladders, small climbing and rappelling areas it is not necessary that you have previously practiced climbing.

In any case, there are naturally several levels of ferrata, with the higher levels having greater drops, rappels, and ultimately, greater doses of adrenaline. But don't worry if you are a beginner, the adventure will also be exciting in unique corners that we have prepared especially for you.

You will find via ferratas in the province of Huesca in the Sierra de Guara and Ordesa and Monte Perdido, and also in various parts of the French and Andorran Pyrenees.
