General information
Except for the last day where we will be staying at the Albergue de Cauterets where dinner is not included so that we can go and celebrate it around the typical bars of Cauterets.
Deal overview
It is a high difficulty program, so you must be in very good physical shape and be used to walking 8-10 hours every day in the mountains, with slopes of 1200 - 1500 meters.
One of the guides will use ropes on most of the summits that we will visit, to guarantee the safety of all participants.
You will never forget this experience!
The program is this:
- First day: you will arrive in Jaca around 5:00 p.m. From here we move to Col de Portalet and take a route to the Pombie refuge, where we have dinner and spend the night.
- Second day: we will climb the Midi d'Ossau and descend. We transfer you to Arrens - Marsous. Here we had dinner and stayed.
- Third day: we go up to the Larribet refuge. We had dinner and spent the night.
- Fourth day: Climb to Balaitis and descent to Arrens-Marsous. Transfer to Cauterets.
- Fifth day: Ascent to Petit Vignemale and descent to the Baysellance refuge. We had dinner and slept here.
- Sixth day: ascent to Vignemale and descent to Pont de España. We return to Cauteret. We stayed, but dinner is not included.
- Seventh day: we have breakfast and return to Jaca.
