Tips if you are going to do Kitesurfing in Spain

Kitesurfing is a complete sport where you can feel the thrill of catching the waves while feeling like flying. This way, you can startle a bit, but stay calmed, because once you know the safety rules and the operation of this water sport, the rest is pure fun. Kitesurfing is increasingly creating more adepts, since it is a step more than surfing, it is about managing the board and the kite, and making incredible jumps that will leave you breathless. Do you dare to try it with us?

1. You will improve step by step



Will I be able to do that? The answer is yes. The good thing about this discipline is that you will learn step by step, and without even knowing it, you will be navigating autonomously with your kite equipment. You start with some basic concepts and practices on sand, learn to control the kite, the wind, to then put everything into practice in the water. When you see yourself in the water catching waves, the sensation is indescribable.

2. You do not have to wait for summer to arrive



Many times we associate water sports with summer, but in the case of kitesurfing, as with other activities, we have to tell you that they can be practiced almost all year round. Of course, you must take into account that the weather and wind gusts are decisive to be able to do it. So, if you really want to start or progress, whatever the time, be sure you have a chance to do so.

3. You will learn from the best



You will have the luck to learn with very best people, who know perfectly the sport, and above all, who feel passion for it. In each class or session, you will learn a position or a new trick that will make you enjoy the sport as much as possible. The instructors do not stop training each day, to be able to teach you the greatest skills, the best way possible. In addition, they will pass the love for kitesurfing to you.

4. In Spain, you will have many areas to practice



If you plan to practice kitesurfing in Spain, you are in luck, since you will have more than 20 provinces and a multitude of beaches where you can do it. Cádiz is one of the most popular places for surfing or kite surfing, but in Fuerteventura, Murcia, Almería or Tarragona you can also find beaches where the best conditions to practice this sport are given.

5. Benefits for your body and your mind



It is not necessary to have much strength or a great physical condition to practice kitesurfing, since it is a sport that lies in the technique but, you will work your triceps, biceps and lats, whilst improving your elasticity and reflexes. Also, as for the mental state, it will allow you to develop concentration, it will motivate you to try to improve yourself every day, and with the advances you will gain confidence in yourself. And the best part of all this, is that you will achieve it while having fun to the fullest.

The best time to go kitesurfing?



As we mentioned before, practically during the whole year you can practice kitesurfing, although this also varies depending on the different areas of our country. Spring and Summer are usually very conducive months for the practice, because there is usually a more stable time. Especially the months of March, April, May and June are usually perfect. If you are interested in doing kitesurfing at this time, we recommend you to book in advance.
