We perfectly understand that there are people who are looking for a journey with a more sporty and continuous pace. However, in this case it was a guided group excursion, the dynamics of which had been explained before the start of the activity. It was also reported that you would share the outing with other participants, whose level was beginners, being for several of them their first kayaking experience.

Our goal on these routes is for all participants to enjoy themselves safely. Therefore, the pace is adapted to the level of the group and short stops are made to explain the natural environment, geology, fauna, the history of the coast and other aspects that are part of the experience. We understand that this format may not be preferred by everyone, but it is precisely what is advertised and what the majority of our clients value very positively.

When you told us in the water that you preferred to continue on your own, the instructor and director of the school, Pascual, immediately authorized it upon verifying that the sea conditions were excellent and that you could do so safely. At no time was there any inconvenience on our part and we maintained communication with you throughout the entire activity by phone and WhatsApp to check that everything was going correctly.

Once the excursion was over, we wanted to find a solution that would compensate for your discontent. Therefore, we invite you to make another trip, in another area and exclusively for you, at no cost. Furthermore, this same proposal was subsequently reiterated twice on WhatsApp. We even offered you, if you preferred not to repeat the guided route, to give you a kayak so that you could make a free excursion on the day you chose. All these proposals were documented.

We would also like to clarify that the price of the activity does not correspond only to the kayak tour. The experience includes approved material, qualified guide, insurance, administrative permits, photographic report, snorkeling activity when conditions allow it and all the necessary organization to carry out the excursion with safety and quality.

We respect your opinion, although we believe that the review does not reflect everything that happened or the effort made to offer you alternatives and find a satisfactory solution.

Fortunately, the journeys guided by Pascual have been taking place for more than 25 years and have been excellently received by thousands of participants. The evaluations highlight precisely the close atmosphere, the interaction with the attendees, the personalized attention and the knowledge of the environment that is transmitted during the routes.

We would like to clarify some aspects so that those who read this review know the reason for the change of location. Days before the activity we contacted you, both by phone and WhatsApp, to inform you that the forecast of strong easterly winds in the Cuatro Calas area made it inadvisable to carry out the excursion there with the safety guarantees that we demand in all our activities.

As we always do in these cases, we offered you two options: cancel the reservation or carry out the activity in an alternative area completely protected from the east. You decided to take the excursion in Calabardina, touring the area of Puntal de Cabo Cope and La Seta, an itinerary protected precisely by the natural shelter of Cabo Cope.

We understand that from the beach it could give the impression that the sea was completely calm. However, conditions can vary considerably depending on the orientation of each stretch of coast. Our job consists precisely in assessing these differences and choosing the safest route for our clients, especially when minors participate, as was their case.

We would also like to clarify that the route taken did not consist of staying in front of Calabardina beach. The route is approximately 3.6 kilometers, while the beach is barely more than 300 meters long. The journey runs through the surroundings of Cabo Cope, with several stops, including snorkeling in an area considered one of the best spots for diving in the Mediterranean and regularly used by numerous diving schools.

Regarding the monitor, we regret the impression it may have given you. In any case, the entire team has the necessary training and experience to carry out this type of activities in complete safety.

Our priority is always to carry out the initially planned route. However, when sea conditions do not allow it, we never put the itinerary before the safety of our clients. That decision is part of our professional commitment and is non-negotiable.

All communications regarding the change of location and the options offered were made by telephone and WhatsApp, so there is evidence that the modification was informed and accepted before the start of the activity.
