In Viveiro, the gateway to the famous and brave Costa da Morte, you can find some safe and calm kayak rides, sheltered from the fierceness of the Cantabrian Sea and the turbulent river waters.

We sail in these canoes prepared not to sink and that easily evacuate the water from their interior through the Viveiro estuary, bordering its beaches, and through the Landro river at its mouth.

Get in the kayak and paddle through calm waters with one of these routes:

• Route from Abrela beach: Duration between 1 hour and a half and 2 hours. From the beach, the Viveiro estuary is bordered on its left bank, reaching several coves that are difficult to access from land.
• Route from Area beach: Similar duration to the previous route along the coast along the beaches of the estuary.
• River route: Along the bed of the Landro River from the village of Portochao to Viveiro itself, reaching the mouth of the sea. Through the Landro marshes observing vegetation and animal fauna such as very characteristic birds.

The waters do not pose difficulties for navigation, being very comfortable routes. You must know how to swim to get into the kayak as the only requirement.

Viveiro, in the Mariña of Lugo, hosts a paintball field no more nor less than 4,000 m2 in which to spread out and fight a spectacular battle between the most spectacular scenery elaborate and varied.

The field is located on the bank of the Landrove River, and in it you will find numerous trees, palisades, cabins, several parapets and even a fort in the center of the field for your battle.

You will feel like you are in nature and very far from civilization, intensifying your evasion of everything else and focusing only on destroying your rivals.

The marking gun will be the weapon with which you mark your opponents with paint. They are filled with biodegradable paint balls. You start with 150 balls and can reload 100 at a time or 2,000.

We organize battles from 6 people with unlimited time and with all the protective equipment incorporated.

We enter the forests and mountains near Viveiro, the gateway to the Costa da Morte, and we travel through them mounted on one of our 250 cc quads. A route that combines nature with sportsmanship.

We have a fleet of 4 semi-automatic Yamaha Bear Trucker quads that are completely safe and with which you can enjoy a very enjoyable and easy ride. Its system prevents them from stalling and its stability on all types of terrain is excellent.

In any case, before going out on the routes you will be able to practice handling the quad by doing good theoretical talks that we will give you with a 2 km stretch of road.

The muddy roads will not be an obstacle for you to literally climb the mountains and be able to contemplate excellent views of this region with the Cantabrian Sea in the background.

Different routes to choose from:

• 1 hour route: Starting from the Viveiro marina where we are located, we reach Monte de Penedo do Galo, the highest point in the region. We will have an enviable view of the Viveiro estuary and the sea, passing through oak forests and small villages.
• 2-hour route: You travel through the center of Viveiro and cross the Misericordia Bridge towards the Landro Valley. We pass through the La Silvarosa iron mine, go up to Monte Castelo and descend through Naseiro.
• Half-day route with lunch included: Through the mountains that surround the Landro valley. The first two routes join together in addition to visiting other points in Viveiro.
• Night route: It is the version of the 1-hour route through Penedo do Galo but under the moonlight. Very special route in which the forests acquire an extraordinary mysticism with the lights of Viveiro in the background.

The only requirements we set are to be over 18 years old and have obtained a class B1 driving license.

One of our guides will always be in front of the group of quads that will go out on the roads.

For those who want to know one of the most spectacular activities that can be practiced in the mountains such as climbing, we have perfect places in Viveiro where you can begin to fall in love with this adventure sport.

We focus especially on initiation climbing, with two different proposals:

• Rock climbing: Just 5 km from the center of Viveiro, on the coast of Lugo, we find Monte Castelo. All kinds of sports routes between granite rocks with mainly levels 4 and 5.
• Climbing wall: Within Viveiro we have a climbing wall where you can start climbing in a completely controlled and comfortable way. There are three types of routes with various difficulties installed with a zip line to descend quickly after the climb.

The guides will give you the basic climbing notions you need to learn properly and safely. They will also give you what you need to climb.

We bring you to the coast of Lugo so you can spend a day of archery between the sea and the mountains in Viveiro, very close to the Costa da Morte.

A always fresh and pleasant atmosphere fostered by the influence of the Cantabrian breeze and the nearby mountains.

You will practice your skill with the bow in sessions:

• 30 minutes
• 1 hour

This training will help you calibrate your precision on the target and to perfectly handle the bow by tensioning it properly and placing your arms in the best position.

You will find targets from all types of distances, always requiring you to calibrate the distance, a challenge that requires all your concentration.

With enough people we hold competitions to add some more excitement to the day.

Mountain biking may be our best way to get to know a natural environment that combines the sea and the mountains such as that of the Mariña of Lugo. BTT routes bordering the Costa da Morte with its rugged coastline and climbing the surrounding mountains with an intense aroma of humidity.

The starting point of each of the routes is the town of Viveiro, from which to the west begins the Costa da Morte itself.

Our routes, although they do not require great physical performance, do test your legs since the Galician terrain is always leg-breaking and rugged wherever you go.

Decide what you want to see of the Lugo coast riding one of our mountain bikes:

• Around Viveiro, through the nearby mountains of Castelo and Penedo do Galo with fantastic views of the Viveiro estuary.
• Serra do Xistral
• Camiño da Costa (Ribadeo-Barreiros)
• Bar Stake

The duration of the crossings goes from 1 hour to 3 hours in the case of the longest ones.

Guided groups must have at least 4 members.

All these itineraries can be done with the company and help of a guide or on your own. In any case, we will inform you in detail about the characteristics of each itinerary.

If you want to feel literally "hanging" on an immense granite wall, at Roq Deporte e Aventura we have what you are looking for. If, on the other hand, you don't feel like moving or you decide to start with something gentler, ourclimbing wallis a highly recommended option.

In Viveiro, on the coast of Lugo between Asturias and the Costa da Morte we rappel in various settings, both natural and artificial:

• Rock rappelling: We descend sections of natural rock made of pure granite in the area of Monte Castelo, 5 km from Viveiro. The intense smell of humidity from the sea and the forest is another incentive to climb the rock in this enclave.

• Rappel in a climbing wall: If you prefer a more affordable and close place, we have a mobile climbing wall with 3 climbing and descending routes where you can rappel in complete peace of mind.

• Rappel in climbing wall and rock: To have a good time trying all the types of rappelling, starting with the climbing tower and ending with "Monte Castelo", possibly our favorite mountain in the area for its incredible views. , for its immense granite rocks and for being one of the few places in Viveiro that still does not know the asphalt.

We are rappelling for 1 hour and a half maximum, enough time for you to master this wall descent technique well, which can be very useful for other activities.

The minimum size of the groups we organize is 4 people per monitor.
