Tips if you are going to do Quad Biking in Spain

Quads are one of the most versatile 4x4 vehicles that exist. They are small, stable and very easy to drive. These characteristics make it possible to make very varied routes, in many areas. That is why you will always find the one that fits what you were looking for.

1. Can be driven on almost any type of terrain!



Quads are a machine with so many possibilities that limiting its use to asphalt is almost a crime. That's why most of the routes you can find include off-road parts, or they are even made entirely in this modality. There will be no problem in traveling on dirt roads, in wooded areas, on gravel or stones or even crossing streams. The traction will always be maximum.

2. Share the experience



As the quads are usually two-seater, you have the ideal opportunity to go with your partner, a friend or family member and live side by side a great experience. Normally, halfway through the departures, a stop is usually made so that the driver and companion can exchange their positions and thus both will live the whole experience. If you go with children, you can occupy the position of co-pilot from 7 or 8 years, usually.

3. Reach places you thought you couldn’t



Thanks to the power of the quads, their good grip and their small size, they are the perfect vehicles so you can make tours of all kinds of steps without anything that can stop you, and achieve so hidden spots that you would only walk and after much effort. On board a quad everything is much easier!

4. Don’t have a driving license? There are options for you.



To enjoy quads outdoor trips, it is required a regular driving license (the same as B-type driving license in almost all European Union), and, therefore, be of legal age, although to go as a co-pilot you would not have to fulfill these requirements. However, in some places you can make trips inside private farms and special circuits where you do not need to have a license. Therefore, even if you have not had time to drive through the driving school, you can still enjoy a quad driving experience.

5. There exist models for kids



In addition to the powerful models for adults, there are others more limited and of a smaller size, designed so that children can also have their first experience driving this type of vehicle. They are usually electric and are used in closed circuits, always under the supervision of a professional monitor. They are a great alternative for your children to know the rules of circulation.

Catalonia is the region with the most activity in this discipline, but it is closely followed by areas such as Asturias, Alicante, La Coruña and Málaga.
