Are you ready? We will start with an approach of 1 km of ascent from a path that begins in the town of Cubillas de Arbas (between the cantina and the Mesón that you will find in the town itself) . From here, we will reach the via ferrata perfectly signposted to discover this aerial path of 600 meters long, with 150 meters of elevation gain.

From the first moment we will start strong, as we will advance helped by 400 meters of installed cable while we admire the views that the Arbas Valley offers us, taking advantage of a natural viewpoint that it offers. an incredible landscape of the town of Cubillas de Arbas. Immediately after, our journey only improves, because we will ascend a vertical wall until we reach a 30-meter rappelling facility. However, the most cautious can take an exit to the left, which has a cable through which you can go down a cornice at foot.

We will continue the ferrata ascending a vertical wall of an impressive 60 meters, which makes it the longest section of staples of all. Shortly after, we will go through an aerial section where we will pass by 10 staples hanging in the void, which will give us a tingling sensation that will travel through every corner of our body. Once we have passed this part we will reach the top of the peña del Castillo, the highest part of the Flores y Lagunas Valle de Arbas ferrata, from where we can contemplate the landscapes of the Peña Barragana.

Far from finishing, we still have a via ferrata to cover, so, when we finish enjoying the views, we will descend 100 meters through easy areas to prepare the body for what is to come, 2 impressive bridges: a hanging bridge and a Tibetan bridge, which will give us a rush of strong emotions thatThey will represent the icing on the cake of the Flores y Lagunas Valle de Arbas ferrata. Once these exciting challenges have been overcome, that is when we will complete our tour of this 600-meter long ferrata with its 150-meter slope.
