Circo de Gredos snowshoe route 5 hours

We are going to seduce you with this route of almost 6 hours through the Sierra de Gredos. We don't want to be pretentious but we have prepared the queen of snowshoe routes.

The snow is waiting for us, making up the waterfalls and transparent lagoons typical of the Sierra de Gredos that make this excursion with snowshoes of unmatched beauty.

Our snowshoe route begins in the parking lot of La Plataforma de la Senda of La Laguna Grande province of Ávila.

We note that this is a journey of medium-high difficulty, so we assume that you already have enough knowledge to skip certain parts with the explanation of "how to use snowshoes." This does not mean that we will do a small briefing where we will get to know each other and tell the peculiarities of this fantastic snowshoe route.

Once we are mentally prepared, we will begin to ascend with snowshoes to reach the Los Cavadores Fountain. If you have previously visited this mountain range, you will know of the immense gift that Gredos gives us to all senses.

We will continue towards the Cordal del Cuento to let ourselves be carried away by the incredible views that the imposing Circo de Gredos gives us. Feel nature from your feet to the last tip of your hair as we follow the Cordal del Cuento and as a companion we have unique views.

We continue climbing to the Altos de Morezón and as we know that this climb is a bit of an effort, we have prepared a gentle section until we reach the sublime Mirador de la Sierra de Gredos. Here we will do it. a break to enjoy the views we deserve after the effort.

We will make the descent and finish the route with snowshoes at the Plataforma de la Senda Grande. If you are a mountain and snow fan, you cannot miss this snowshoe route.
