Discovery paragliding experience in Accous, 15 min flight

The Discovery flight is the sweetest of our tandem paragliding introductions departing from Accous, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, and it is also the children's flight. You will fly fifteen minutes in calm air above the Aspe valley without acrobatics, and the instructor pilots from start to finish. Unlike Thermik and Combo Sensation, this baptism is done in the morning and afternoon.

Your instructor takes care of all the equipment at takeoff. He will install you in the harness and inflate and raise the sail above you both, then you will take a few steps to give him momentum by remaining standing until he asks you to sit down. As you approach the land, he will explain to you how to land and you will gradually stand up to finish with a few steps, sometimes running a little.

There is no minimum age for a tandem flight and toddlers fly in calm conditions. We have children fly every year, generally from 4 or 5 years old, as long as the desire comes from them and they know how to express it. No maximum age is set either: you just have to want to and notify us in advance of any health problem so that the instructor can adapt the flight.

Good to know: vertigo does not prevent you from flying, because the sensation experienced at the edge of a window is not found under the sail. The instructor and take-off site depend on the weather of the day and cannot be chosen. Photos are optional. Even in summer, it can be cool at altitude: bring pants, good shoes and a windbreaker or down jacket.
