Children's tandem paragliding flight in Saint-Vallier-de-Thiey
General information
Deal overview
The child flight allows those under 12 years old to discover their first sensations in tandem paragliding at the Saint-Vallier-de-Thiey site, in the Alpes-Maritimes. It does not have a fixed duration: Jean-Vincent Ducrocq decides it in flight depending on the age of the child, the conditions of the day and his behavior in the air. These flights take place early in the morning or at the end of the day because the air is calm, which is best suited for a child's first flight. You will find the instructor at the Chapelle Sainte-Luce, which also serves as a landing site. The child then walks up to takeoff via a path of around ten minutes that he or she should be able to do alone with a small backpack. He will finally have to run a few meters to take off.
For a child under 10 years old, two adults must be present during takeoff and landing. Remember to provide a warm layer and gloves in spring and fall, because you are colder in flight than on the ground. If you wish to keep a souvenir of your baptism, the video or photos of the flight are requested before takeoff and are offered at an additional cost.
