Thermal paragliding flight 15 to 22 min, Saint-Vallier-de-Thiey
General information
Deal overview
The thermal flight is done in more active conditions than the morning baptisms. At the end of the morning and in the afternoon, the air begins to rise in places and forms thermals in which we gain altitude by turning, as birds do. With 15 to 22 minutes of flight time above Saint-Vallier-de-Thiey, Jean-Vincent Ducrocq has time to look for these thermals and roll them up to give you height, which a discovery flight in calm air does not allow. This formula is suitable for those who want a more lively first flight, but also for those who have already had a first flight and want to feel the sail rising.
Allow around an hour on site. We meet at the Chapelle Sainte-Luce before walking up to takeoff in about ten minutes for the briefing. You run a few meters until the sail picks you up and the flight ends just after the chapel, back where you started. This flight is open to passengers weighing less than 90 kg.
The call the day before is obligatory because that is when Jean-Vincent confirms the weather and the time of the flight. If the wind does not allow you to fly at the planned time, he may offer to postpone the baptism until later in the day.
