Do you want to know all the options to do a snowshoeing tour in Lleida?

- Baqueira-Beret: it is probably the most important ski resort in this area. You will be able to find out the Valle de Arán with snowshoeing tours of half-day or whole day through Pla de Beret. You will be also able to make a complete getaway of it and book accommodation in a 3-star hotel in the town of Viella. Another possibility is to do a snowshoeing tour through the surroundings of Pallars Sobira and spend the night in the town of Ribera de Cardos.

- Espot: you will be able to experience snowshoeing with the tours that usually leave from Espot and its surroundings, to visit some of the most beautiful areas of the Aiguas Tortas I Estany de San Maurici National Park. They are also set up snowshoeing tours to the High Pyrenees Natural Park. In this case, you must use the ski lift to access the departing spot, situated at 2,000 meters height. After the snowshoeing tour, you will be able to taste a typical Catalonian meal in the Riberies Hotel. In the evening, you will be also able to enjoy the spa services of this same hotel for one hour.

- Port Ainé: you can also do a snowshoeing tour near this ski resort, in Rialp, in the Alto Urgel area, to continue discovering the High Pyrenees area. Besides, in these snowshoeing tours, we frequently come across local fauna.

- Port del Comte: this ski resort is located in the south area of Andorra. There you will be able to find the Pre-Pyrenees and the Cadi-Moixeró Natural Park. You can book a 3 or 6-hour snowshoeing tour, depending on your preference. Besides, you can get a complete photographic report of the snowshoeing tour. There are other snowshoeing tours to visit the Solsonés area, located in the high part of Valle de Lord, and some towns there such as La Coma. They all depart from this ski resort, and the ski lift will be necessary to do the tour.

- Boi Taüll: this ski resort is on the border with the province of Huesca, in Aragón. A snowshoeing tour is a fantastic manner of visiting Valle de Boi. This area is located next to Pont de Suert, belonging to the Alta Ribagorza division. If you want to combine the snowshoeing tour with an overnight in a mountain hotel, we recommend Boi Taüll Resort, which also owns a spa. If you don’t want to stay overnight but feel like tasting a traditional Catalonian meal, you will find the possibility of combining the snowshoeing tour with a traditional “butifarra” menu, accompanied by potatoes and salad.

As you can see, Lleida offers a great number of possibilities to experience snowshoeing. Are you game for it?
