Our snowshoe journey will begin at the Les Daines hostel, at the Espot Esquí station, which is located in the municipality from Espot, in the Lleida region of Pallars de Sobirá. Here we will equip ourselves with poles and rackets, and our guide, who will accompany us at all times, will give us brief training and instructions on the activity and the route we will take. For this exciting day you will only have to come warm with jackets, gloves, hat, and hiking boots. You should also bring sunglasses and sunscreen.
Once ready, we will go up the La Roca Chairlift, to level 2000, where now we can say that our adventure officially begins. Immersed in these colossal landscapes, the mountain breeze of the Pyrenees will run through our entire body, and we will be surrounded by absolute silence as we advance through the snow contemplating views that can only be seen if we enter the interior of its mountains with snowshoes.
Here, we can take several itineraries, such as the Les Picardes route, in which we can take an excursion where we will surround the area known as Clots de la Bassa, from where We will be able to admire the majestic peak of Les Picardes, surrounded by unique and varied vegetation. We can also take the Cruz de l'Eixol route, where we will reach a beautiful viewpoint from which we can have the best views of the Pyrenees and the adjacent valley.

We will enter the Lleida municipality of Espot, in the Pallars de Sobirá region. We will give you rackets and poles, you just have to come warm from head to toe. Remember to bring sunscreen and sunglasses, because the snow reflects a lot, and we don't want anything to hinder our snowshoe walk through the Aiguas Tortas and Lake San Mauricio National Park.
After getting equipped and receiving the previous training, we will ride the La Roca Chairlift and we will reach the 2000 level, where we will have a set lunch before starting to stay energized well loaded, and after that, then our snowshoe journey officially begins.
We will be able to delight our senses with the vegetation that we will find, the magnificent views and the relaxing silence that awaits us. In these parts, we could take 2 itineraries, such as the Les Picardes route, where we will skirt the Clot de la Bassa, which will lead us to a perfect hidden place to contemplate the strong>peak of Las Picardes. Or also, we can take a route to the Cruz de l'Eixol, where suddenly we will find ourselves at a viewpoint carefully observing the best views of the Pyrenees and the adjacent valley.
