We have all the emotions that you can experience in the high mountains with our proposals for theSierra de Guara and the high Pyrenees of Huesca.We combine the activities with the courses, being able to train you and equip you with technique in whatever you like the most.

We offer you technical courses and guided activities:

Canyoning: We descend the ravines and canyons that make up the most concentrated place in all of Europe, the Sierra de Guara.
Hiking: Beautiful excursions through Ordesa and Monte Perdido, Guara and other places in the Pyrenean mountain range and Spain.
Rock and ice climbing: Courses and rock climbing sessions on spectacular mallos and crags and along ice tongues in the Pyrenean valleys.
Via ferratas: Mode close to climbing but more bearable with elements placed on the wall to move through the rock cuts.
BTT: Cycling routes along the most unique paths you can imagine using long-distance trails.
Snowshoes: Winter sport using these gadgets that allow us to go hiking in the snow.

Summary Canyoning

Bierge Guide Company is your faithful companion tocross the most unique and exciting ravines that you can visit in the Aragonese Pyrenees. The Sierra de Guara and the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park present a great wealth in terms of quality and variety of routes.

We take advantage of the season that runs from April to September to undertake the descent of the ravines. It is at this time when it is best to descend since the temperatures are not so low.

The presence of water is very great in all the itineraries, having not only to rappel or jump over the walls but it will also be necessary to swim and splash through the channels of the streams and torrents.

We divide the descents into 3 levels of difficulty: Those of level I are ideal for starting canyoning with small sections, those of level II are They require some experience with about 4 hours of activity. If you have already tried alpine skiing and your body is asking for new emotions about skis, it is time for you to come with us and try off-piste mountain skiing. Unforgettable descents down the slopes of imposing peaks of more than 3,000 meters of the Pyrenees are waiting for you.

With mountain skiing you will not only go down slopes of virgin snow but you will also have to combine it with cross-country skiing, climbing up to mythical Pyrenean peaks such as Aneto, Posets, Maladeta or Carros de Foc.

You will experience journeys that last more than a day, spending the night in mountain refuges and setting out on an adventure again the next day.

An even wilder and more adventurous experience features the freeride style. Similar to mountain skiing, this modality takes us through very technical areas of the mountains, so a good level of skiing is necessary.

If you really want to try this world but you lack sufficient knowledge, we have both mountain skiing and freeride courses to gain experience in all the essential techniques. They last 5 days.

Summary Snowboarding

At Bierge Guide Company we look for the peaks of the Pyrenees of Huesca with the most affordable routes doing cross-country skiing and then jumping on our snowboard.

From December to April we organize snowboarding days outside the typical ones on the ski slopes. A mountain snowboard with which you can enjoy impressive views from the top of the mountains.

You will snow in almost virgin snow from almost 3,000 meters high a great reward for the effort made to ascend.

The complete list of equipment with crampons, ice axes, boots, helmet, sticks, and of course the snowboard will be delivered to you by our team.

It could be a simple day or several days of ascents and descents doing the wildest snowboarding you've ever tried.

Summary Snowshoeing

How about a quiet walk through the snow through the slopes of the Pyrenean mountains while you admire the fantastic endless valleys and the very high peaks that touch and exceed 3,000 meters in altitude?

We offer you snowshoe routes throughout the winter season that runs from December to March. We have half-day and full-day routes.

Snowshoes offer you very special comfort in the snow, preventing you from sinking and therefore allowing you to go on long routes without getting too tired.

Through the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park as well as the Benasque Valley in the surroundings of Aneto and Posets-Maladeta we have the best snowshoe treks of all the Pyrenees.

The groups will be made up of a ratio ranging from 4 to 12 people per monitor.

At Bierge Guide Company climbing is one of our specialties. Both on rock and ice we offer you vertical days and courses so that you can learn first-hand this mountain activity.

If climbing seems too vertical and demanding for your taste but you want to experience the sensations produced by moving between ravines and deep drops, we have a route that combines both things in a much more comfortable way: The via ferratas.

What better place to try via ferrata than the steep canyons that we can find in the Pyrenees.The Sierra de Guara and the Añisclo and Ordesa valleys are ideal places to spend a day literally hanging from the mountain .

The steps nailed to the wall as well as other devices and elements such as harnesses, bridges and ropes will take you between cliffs and canyons without much difficulty.

From the shortest tours of just 1 hour to the longest ones of almost 4 hours.

From the first days of spring to the last days of autumn we do half-day or full-day guided outings, depending on your desire and endurance.

You will be equipped to the last detail with your own mountain bike in perfect condition, water backpack, helmet and spare parts in case of any eventuality such as a puncture.

To carry out the getaways we need a minimum of 4 people. So go cheering on your friends and share your getaway through the Pyrenees mountains.

How to get there?

From the A22 you come from Huesca or Barbastro/Lérida we will leave at the exit 77 towards Abiego, after this town, turn left towards Bierge-Rodellar and when you reach the crossroads at the entrance to Bierge, take the turning to the right towards Alquezar-Adahuesca-Alberuela following the Guide Service signs along the A1230. 300 meters to the right we will find a restored barn with a porch, a parking lot and a field with olive trees of native varieties.
