It is not a descent through white water but you will travel through natural river beds with some surprises but without requiring any experience or having great skill with the use of the oars.
The places we have chosen to sail the canoe are:

• Río Pas: we will navigate the section that leads to the Mogro estuary on a calm ride. You will be able to explore beaches of great beauty such as Mogro and you will pass through picturesque towns such as Oruña. This is a good tour to do with all the members of your family as long as they know how to swim.

• Deva River: This route is the longest and we offer a meal halfway through the route on the banks of this very special river. For 14 km you will navigate around small rapids that will provide a little more fun on a very special day.

• Lake Acebo: This lake is located in the Cabárceno Park, a very special place where you can enjoy the canoes while different species of animals and birds appear around you. . There is no better place to start canoe navigation than here. We also do camps and excursions for schools or institutes so that they can enjoy nature while discovering a very special sport

Rafting is a sport that people of all ages can do. If you want to come with the little ones, we can propose a section tailored to them so that they can cross rapids and currents in total safety without losing a bit of fun.

For the older ones we have routes and routes in the best Cantabrian and Asturian rivers:

• Saja River: in this river we have found a stretch of 14km ideal for groups with a beginner or medium level. We recommend descending the Saja River during the autumn and spring season due to the abundant rains and the melting of the highest peaks. Winter is also a good time to go rafting on this river where you will enjoy with your friends on an inflatable raft avoiding rapids and jumps.

• Deva River: for 4 hours you will cross the best rapids formed by the abundant rains that occur throughout the year in this area. Spring and autumn are incredible for descending the river in its wildest state in the 16 km stretch that you will navigate with your friends.

• Ebro River: this is the only route we recommend doing in the summer season. The moving waters of the river caused by the late thaw in this area make this season perfect for enjoying this sport while you cool off. In addition, so that you can fully immerse yourself in the activity, we have prepared a 19 kilometer route with a stop halfway through to have a drink and regain strength.

Paintball is a sport to play with friends or acquaintances and be able to recreate combats with them in which you will fight against each other. In teams, you will enjoy an activity as fun as it is addictive that once you try it you will want to repeat every weekend.

We know that paintball is a common sport in recent times and that is why we wanted to prepare something different so that you can enjoy and never forget the paintball game with us. We have two modalities:

• Paintball Outdoor: Paintball fields require obstacles in which to hide to prevent your rivals' paintballs from eliminating you. For this reason we have designed a course in which we combine natural obstacles from the Sierrallana Mountain and obstacles that we have designed following the guerrilla aesthetic. During the game we are going to propose original games so that not everything is point and shoot. We will also make you create strategies and confront your rivals using intelligence.

• Urban paintball: this modality is special to active Cantabria. We take paintball to different places in the Vega del Pas area such as abandoned buildings with more than one floor. It is a new way of doing this sport at home, enjoying it to the fullest in a totally different place than what you are used to.

Canyoning is one of the risky sports that you can do in the northern part of Spain. At Cantabria Activa we are constantly looking for new routes and ravines to descend so you can enjoy this experience.

This sport seems simple but it is necessary to have a certain technique to do it completely safely. It doesn't matter if you don't have a level since we can offer you initiation activities so that later you can enjoy the most extreme ravines with jumps and pools everywhere.

Our instructors have toured the Cantabrian mountains looking for the best ravines. Until now we do canyoning in:

• Barranco del Aján: this ravine is ideal for those with a beginner or intermediate level since it has two different sections that you can walk with or without ropes.

• Great Ravine of the Aján River: The La Vega de Pas area allows for great descents like the one we have organized in this ravine. This section is for participants with an average to high level who want to experience a full day of canyoning that will last around 8 or 10 hours. In this ravine you will enjoy the sport, becoming an expert without realizing it since we will do fun routes so that you have the best time possible.

• La Yera Ravine: Also in the Vega de Pas area we will find this very special ravine. We recommend it for mid-level athletes who want to test their downhill techniques on different routes. You can go canyoning with us in one section for 3 hours or for 7 hours including a meal near the ravine.

• Barranco del Navedo: in the town of La Hermida we will find this ravine perfectly passable for anyone who has no experience and wants to enjoy a day learning a new and very fun sport. The duration depends on each group but is usually around 3 hours in which you will enjoy everything that the ravine can offer you.

• Barranco de Sembrao: this ravine does not require any type of experience and anyone interested in this sport can cross it. Canyoning can be a lot of fun and this canyon is the best example of it. We will take you to San Sebastián de Garabandal and once there you will enjoy a 3-hour tour.

Hydrospeed is a very fun sport that will make adrenaline come out of every pore of your skin. It is an activity in which you will travel the river using only a small board on which you will lean to stay afloat and try to guide the course through the rapids and currents of the river.

At Cantabria Activa we have planned a route along a section of the Ebro River, a perfect place with a very high flow throughout the year full of waterfalls and rapids. For 8 km you will cross the river propelling yourself with fins to be able to move with greater agility. It is a fairly rough stretch in which an instructor will accompany you to ensure that you catch the waves and currents safely.

You must know how to swim to do hydrospeed since the entire route is done with half your body in the water. To prevent the cold waters of the Ebro River from making your descent more difficult, we will provide you with a neoprene suit that will facilitate your movements. We will also leave you the helmet, fins and the board or sled used in this sport.

The caving activities that we have organized for you in Cantabria Activa are the best way to discover the depths and all the secrets that are hidden underground.

The Cantabrian coast offers endless cavities and rocky areas that will delight all those who love underground formations. In Cantabria Activa we will take you to the Cueva del Linar, a cave full of stalactites, stalagmites and other formations. Furthermore, in this cave you will find human remains such as paintings in a room adapted so that you can visit it without any problem.

You can explore the cave at different levels depending on your experience and what you want to explore:

• Initiation level: this is the simplest and most prepared modality for all those who want to have a first contact with caving or simply be impressed by the formations that the water has made in the cave. It lasts an average of 2:30 hours in which you will only travel through flat areas without slopes or jumps.

• Intermediate level: this activity is for those who have done caving or a similar sport at some time. It is a tour of 3 hours or 3 and a half hours in which you will jump over holes and slopes using the rappelling technique that our instructors will teach you before starting the route.

• High level: you will explore the cave completely for approximately 4 hours. The descents with rappelling and ropes will be constant and you will enjoy strong emotions while you allow yourself to be soaked in the history that its ancient inhabitants have captured on its walls.

The cave that we propose is very close to the city of Torrelavega so we recommend this activity for those who want to complete a tourist day in the area enjoying and learning about history and nature.
