Currently, if you want to go rafting in the Picos de Europa mountains, you can only do so on the Cares Alto, in Asturias, or on the river Deva, through the Desfiladero de la Hermida, in Cantabria. What awaits you is a wild, wooded environment, with intense, dancing white water, but which anyone can enjoy because there are numerous sections of varying force so that experts, novices or families can venture out to try this great plan. Be warned, this rafting descent in the Picos de Europa can only be done in spring, a time of heavy rainfall and alpine thaw.
