Resumen de la empresa
We don't just say it, at Equus Boria everyone who comes to enjoy time with our beautiful horses is because they know how to appreciate the perfect combination between these animals, us humans and nature.
We enjoy a privileged environment, in the heart of Cantabrian nature, where our animals live in almost total freedom, a very important aspect for them to remain healthy and friendly to everyone who comes to visit us.
In the Oyambre Natural Park we organize very special horseback riding routes in which the only thing you will hear are the horses' hooves. It doesn't matter what level you have because we will adapt to your pace and you will have no problem with our animals, since you will immediately establish a connection with them.
If you are looking to learn riding at a more professional level, we encourage you to come to our classes. These are small groups so we guarantee you the best learning of techniques at any level. We even prepare you for the gallop exams, since we have highly experienced riders in our small family.
Fulfilling your dream of being closer to horses and living with them is possible with us. Contact us and we will teach you to love these affectionate animals as much as we do.
Resumen Rutas a Caballo
At Equus Boria we have a special affection for our land, Cantabria, and we tour it on horseback rides from Santillán, a town on the coast with the constant sound of sea waves on our routes. We are in the heart of the Oyambre Natural Park, and along its trails we guide the horses for 1 or 2 hours, depending on the route you choose.
Chances are you've never ridden a horse, but that's not a problem for us. One to two hours of horseback riding is a good duration for beginners (for advanced as well), pleasant for riders and horses. The paths of the natural park are a beauty between vegetation, rocks and sea.
We will walk among heather, reeds and many seabirds such as seagulls, kites and blackbirds. Appreciating the beach of Merón and San Vicente de la Barquera, this adventure is a fantastic mix of horse riding experience and Cantabrian nature.
The horses are used to working with new people, they are calm and like to walk through the green areas of our area. You will connect with them instantly, so let yourself be carried away by the guide's instructions and focus on enjoying the activity in every way.
Do you want a horse ride on the coast of Cantabria? Well, contact Equus Boria, we will customize one for you and your group.

Learning to ride a horse in a place full of buildings where animals can get stressed is not the same as learning to ride a horse in such a place as the surroundings of Oyambre, where our noble friends live relaxed, which It is summarized in the affability with which they receive the students.
The level is not a problem either, since you will be in small groups, with a maximum of 7 people, which will facilitate the learning and progression of the techniques that you will gradually learn with our team of riders.
The levels start from the most basic to more advanced classes which will include people who are passing the stages and want to continue perfecting their techniques.
Each class lasts approximately one hour, in which you will also have to learn how to saddle and prepare the horse, as well as know the needs of the horse at all times. It is essential to establish this relationship between both parties for an effective and emotional progression.

Very nice experience, the guy who made the route very nice to us the truth. It served me well as an initiation, since it was the first time I rode a horse.
The only downside was that my horse was hungry and occasionally stopped to eat. -

In short, the experience has been phenomenal: I asked for a reservation for 3 people from one day to the next and there was no problem about it. The ride was beautiful: we chose the option of 1 hour and climbed a small path to the top of a hill from which we could see, on the one hand, Picos de Europa and, on the other, the coast and some villages in the area . The animals (Mirlo, Ghandi and Pascualín, in our case) were beautiful, affectionate, obedient and very tame. There was no problem with them beyond having to separate to leave. Sincerely, we knew a little, next time (of course, we will repeat) we will choose a longer route. For this reason and for the price I would recommend the longer routes, although the route we traveled was very pleasant and for those who do not have much experience walking on horseback it may be the best option (enough for you to end up sleeping your ass and knees , Hahaha). Finally, I would like it to be possible to spend more time with the animals before and after the ride. Although they are very friendly animals, being able to spend time preparing them would help to strengthen the ties and enjoy the ride even more with our new four-legged friend. For the rest, what was said, everything perfect. 100% recommended -

It was a wonderful experience, the horses are super docile and the route is incredible.
The instructors are lovely, they treated us great and they stayed with our daughters because once they were mounted, they were scared.
We will return for sure. Thanks for the experience. -

I thought I was going to go alone or with people who had a similar level of horse control. But he has had to adapt, so he has not enjoyed it at all. -

The route passes through a very beautiful area with the Picos de Europa in the background. Technically the route was simple, although the guide put a little haste in the time to realize it, even arriving to ride with the horse. Considering that we were almost absolute beginners, sometimes this caused us a bit of stress. Perhaps this route could be adapted to a lower level, for when the participants have never ridden on horseback. However, the overall experience was very quite good. -

The treatment, the staff and the horses were great. We had some bad luck with the weather, and the fog did not leave us; Enjoy the view but equally was great fun.
No matter That we did not have experience riding, so they make it easy, simple and for the whole family. -
