Tips if you are going to do Horseback Riding in Spain

Pacing, trotting or galloping, is how you will be able to ride a chosen horse for an activity. Even though for it, you’ll need to establish a friendship with this animal. But don’t be scared because the are tamed and accustomed to be among a lot of people, so they won’t get scared easily. Whether you are an expert rider or have never ridden before, you’ll find the perfect route for you.

1. Mutual trust



The horses are the most noble animal that exists, and if you put effort you will gain all the love they give. There exist options that works on this, with games where you will reinforce your relationship with the horse. Also, if you decide for a guided tour by horse, before starting the trip, the instructor will show you how you need to give orders to the animal, how you need to seat on their horsebacks, like how to show your tokens of affection and rewards you can him/her throughout the route.

2. Outdoor or riding arena trainings



To be a good rider is equally important like the routes and the contact in a controlling surrounding like a riding arena can be. Is not strange that when starting a tour by horse, walk around with the horse for a little bit before exiting to the woodlands.

3. Relaxing



Oddly enough, to ride a horse, you need to be relaxed, especially if you don't have any experience. Is important to remember that we are riding an animal and is essential that we don’t make sudden movements that can make the horse nervous. To go really rigid is not also a solution since we would not be able to adapt ourselves to the animal’s movement and we can hurt our backs. The country strolls, among mountains or next to the sea will help you to eliminate tension and ride the horse peacefully.

4. Benefits for the body and mind



Is really known that the horses are used for a lot of therapies, but the thing you don’t notice is that it favours the control of emotions and self-esteem at the same time of improving attention capacities. Also, you pay more attention to the horse, so your feelings of responsibility grow. About the physical part, the slow trotting of a horse makes the muscles to loosen, alleviating all the accumulated stress and above all, improves your back’s position. On the horse, we need to stay upright, an ideal position to relocate the back after interminable school or work days.

5. For adults and children



From 2 or 3 years old, they can start riding a pony because is the first experience they can have with the horse riding world or an adult companion. From the age of 5 and 6, depending on the kid, the equestrian center and route’s terrain, they will be able to ride a horse. Olders can practice the same level or even more since if you are an expert, you can enjoy longer and more difficult routes.
