We are in the Montseny Natural Park, Universal Heritage, so what better way to disconnect from everyday life than by coming to visit us?
We offer various services among which we highlight the training of horses, boarding or the sale of horses, among others. In our facilities you can find everything you need for a unique day.
The alternatives that we can provide you are:
Horse riding routes
We offer 1-hour introductory excursions for those who want to ride horses for the first time or up to 2 hours if you don't have much experience. It is not recommended for longer excursions for the first time because you would get too tired and not fully enjoy the activity. We organize longer routes for people with experience.
We also carry out excursions of longer duration as well as several days for those of you who are experts.
Riding lessons
Before each route we give a small class so that, especially those of you who do not have experience, you can carry out the walk without any problem.
We also have a riding school that will ensure that you learn to practice this sport or improve your techniques. We also have classes in classical dressage, show jumping and adapted horse riding and equine therapy.
Special celebrations

Summary Horse Riding Camps
Our highly prestigious riding center is located on the edge of the Montseny Natural Park, just 20 minutes from Barcelona.
WE OPEN REGISTRATION FOR THE
HORSE RIDING TECHNOLOGY CAMPUS
For this summer and for the little ones we have prepared:
Equestrian activities, workshops, games, gymkhanas and horse and pony rides so that they can have a "great time", learning everything necessary to be a good "cowboy" or a great "rider".
They will learn, have fun, play sports, meet new friends, enjoy our Horses and Ponies, and all this in the incomparable environment that only Equimia can offer just 30 minutes from Barcelona and surrounded by the Montseny Natural Park.
A whole team of professionals from the world of horse riding dedicated exclusively to your little ones during their summer holidays.
Important:
- The activities are for children from 6 to 15 years old.
- From Tuesday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The activity will take place in our riding center located in Cànoves i Samalús. A riding center with more than 12 years of existence in Cardedeu but which expanded its facilities by moving to the neighboring town of Cànoves, these new facilities being inaugurated in June 2012 by the Secretary General of Sports of the Generalitat of Catalonia.
Therefore, what Equimia now offers you are completely new and impeccable facilities, managed by a team with many years of experience and recognized prestige.
For the weekly Campus to take place, there must be a minimum of 5 children registered.
Summary Horseback Riding
With Equimia you can get on a horse or pony and enjoy a journey of a few hours, a day or several.
Don't worry about your level, in our school you can start from scratch or you can perfect your technique. We offer you the best horses for you to practice at any level:
-Initiation: for people who like horses or ponies and who want to start practicing classical dressage or show jumping among other modalities.
- Improvement: you will learn to be autonomous with the horse. We offer horse riding adapted to your personal characteristics.
- Preparation: If you are thinking of entering a regional, national or international competition, this course will help you perfect your technique and smooth out any rough edges towards your good presentation in this competition.
- Dressage, advice and boarding: also the purchase of horses. Two pupillage techniques: in Box or in Paddock.
Our team is perfectly trained. Our experience in the world of teaching allows us to instruct in this discipline with great professionalism.

How to get there?
We are on the BP-5107 road that connects La Garriga with Cànoves. You can come via the AP7 Highway (Barcelona-Girona), take exit 12 Cardedeu, and head to Cànoves, passing by the town (we are 5 minutes away) towards La Garriga. Another option is to come from Barcelona on the C-17 (Barcelona-Vic) and exit at La Garriga, cross La Garriga towards Cànoves, and we are 5 minutes away. In both cases it will take about 25-30 minutes.
