All of this in the UK? Yes indeed, right here in the UK’s watersport capital, Newquay. With something as simple as a snorkel and a face mask, you can see some truly extraordinary underwater sights without forking out for a return plane ticket.
We live and breath (not quite literally) the water here on the north Cornish coast, making us the best snorkelling guides you could hope for. We’ll take you on a two-hour tour of the area. We’re based above Fistral Beach, so this is one of our most common destinations, but we can also round the Gazzle Peninsula to Newquay Bay or go further afield.
We’ll meet at our HQ and distribute snorkelling gear, including flippers. Wetsuits are available to rent at a small extra cost, you can also wear your own. We’ll go over the entry, exit and safety procedures, then set off!
Crabs, kelp and shoals of fish live in and around the rocks and reefs of the area. There are also curious seals that bound over like friendly dogs in wetsuits! It’s a wonderful experience, and it’s available to any competent swimmers who will be comfortable wearing and using the equipment for a couple of hours.
