Freediving, also known as breath-hold diving, is a skill that almost anyone can develop. While it may seem impossible at first, with our expert instructors and the SSI level one course programme, you’ll discover the ability within you and learn how to complete dives without the use of breathing apparatus.
The first day of this two-day course will start with a theory session and go on to include pool training and an immersion in shallow seas somewhere on the Pembrokeshire coast. You’ll make deeper dives on day two, all the time focusing on putting the skills introduced in the first day into practice. There is an online element to the course as well to be completed before the start.
Learning to freedive is incredibly rewarding, but it becomes even more so when you are surrounded by the incredible scenery of the Pembrokeshire coast. And that’s not to mention the spectacular flora and fauna that you can encounter below the waves.
Sign up for this course if you are an able swimmer, over the age of 15 and fascinated by our seas and oceans. We keep group sizes small, so booking in advance is highly recommended.
