Here in Looe, on the south coast of Cornwall, we have the River Looe, Looe Island and Plaidy Beach, which is where we run our watersports hire service.
Why not rent a paddleboard for half a day (3 hours) and go on an adventure? The waters around us are generally pretty calm, so you can do a great deal of exploring in that time.
To make the offer even more attractive, we offer a package deal, which includes an inflatable board, a pump, a leash and a life jacket. We ask you to bring your own wetsuit, except in the warmest months of the summer.
Come as an individual or a group of up to 6 people. Our members of staff on the beach will give some information about routes you can follow and, if you need them, paddleboarding tips.

Full Day Paddleboard Hire at Plaidy Beach
Deal overview
Rent a paddleboard and the world is your oyster. We offer a full day hire package of 7 hours which includes the board (inflatable), a paddle, a pump, a leash and a life jacket. All you need to do is bring a wetsuit if the weathers’ brisk.
We are located in Plaidy Beach in Looe. With our kit and a full day to play with, there’s a lot you can do. Paddling around the bay is fun, but you can also take a trip up Looe River or even cross the open sea that separates Looe Island from the shore.
You don’t need to be an experienced paddleboarder to hire our kit but we will advise you on your best options given your ability level. Our rental service is staffed by watersports guides.
We have up to 6 paddleboards available for hire, so you can come alone or bring your friends or family.
