Deal overview
The Pembrokeshire peninsula juts out into the Irish Sea. This is the perfect place to embark on an unforgettable journey of discovery, taking in coastal views, island wildlife havens and subaquatic exploration.
Day one of this two-day experience is a voyage into the Irish Sea, leaving behind the coast and entering deep water. This is the hunting ground of blue sharks, our principal focus. As well as these two-metre predators, we are likely to see other shark, marine mammal fish and seabird species. Bluefin tuna, dolphins and humpback whales (an outside chance) are some of the highlights.
Day two sees us complete a tour of some of the islands off the southwest tip of Wales. Skomer and Skokholm are favourites for seals (and seal lovers) whilst Grassholm is a “see it to believe it” destination, hosting around 40,000 gannets.
On both days, we’ll complete snorkelling immersions in the Irish Sea to observe the fascinating animals that live here up close. Specialist equipment is necessary for spending long periods of time in the water. We can hire out snorkels, fins, thick wetsuits and other insulating layers if arranged in advance.
