The iconic image of a group of people on a boat crossing the rapids of a river is something quite recurrent in adventure films. And the spectator with a minimum of daring, while observing the scene, wanted to become one of the protagonists of the story that faced the roar of the current.

The satisfaction of crossing the course of a river through white water from beginning to end must be analogous to what the hero of a work feels who ends up saving one of the characters in trouble. Well, now it is feasible with this rafting activity that takes place in the bed of the Paiva River.

If, on top of that, the activity takes place in an environment like the one offered by the Arouca Geopark area, with its exceptional geological heritage, there is no excuse. We are very close to Porto, at a distance of one hour by car.

During the 4 hours journey we will have to overcome the natural barriers that the river places along the way, with the intention of turning the activity into one of the most fun experiences you can hire in these parts.

The raft, which seems to levitate in the water as if by magic, is directed by one of our trained monitors, so there is no risk at any time. For this reason, because we have the most effective security measures and because a qualified guide supervises the activity, this rafting circuit is appropriate for children from the age of >5 yearsold.

The adventure of your lives, there is no doubt. To round off the day, we will give you the complete equipment necessary to carry out rafting, such as, for example, suit and neoprene boots , a thermal t-shirt to prevent wet cold, a raincoat, life jacket and helmet. Likewise, we will give you a photo report and a snack to regain your strength.

You will simply have to bring swimsuit in case you feel like taking a dip after the descent and a towel to dry off. Don't forget to draw the best of your smiles either.

And, even more importantly, this activity can be adapted to people with special needs, so that everyone can participate in one of the events of the year.
