Specifically, we will go to Monte do Pereiro aboard one of our CAN-AM Maverick buggies. Since they are two-seaters, you can come accompanied by your favorite person. Together, you will enjoy a 1 hour long route in which you will fall in love with both the place and this impressive all-terrain vehicle.
We will leave from our facilities in Arouca, where we will be waiting for you for the briefing prior to the activity and the distribution of the vehicles. During the route, you will be accompanied at all times by an expert monitor/guide who will take you along the best trails in the area and who will take photos and videos so that you can take home a precious memory of the experience.
You will be able to drive the buggy through the valleys of the town of Canelas and the Paiva River, as well as ascend to the mandatory stop point where we will contemplate the famous 516 Arouca Hanging Bridge strong>, the suspended pedestrian bridge that has been recognized as the longest in the world. We will also see from this point the well-known Passadiços do Paiva, a series of wooden walkways along the river of the same name, awarded on multiple occasions as Best Adventure Tourism Attraction in Europe.
We will pass through the old Volfrâmio Mines, where we will learn about the so-called "black gold" that played so much prominence during World War II. After visiting this old mining complex of Canelas, we will head back to the starting point.

During the 2 hour route, we will climb the Monte do Pereiro, from where we will be able to contemplate the spectacular views of the 516 Hanging Bridge of Arouca; and we will explore the valleys of the town of Canelas and the Paiva River.
You will be accompanied throughout the activity by one of our expert monitors, who will be in charge of guiding you from the beginning of the route at our facilities in Arouca until the return to them. The instructor will teach you how to use the CAN-AM Maverick buggy, in which up to two people can ride. Then, it will be time to take action!
Another of the places of interest that we will pass through during the excursion will be the ancient Roman gold mine, which we can find next to the Canelas slate quarry. This is one of the key places of local architecture, so the guide will take the opportunity to explain what trilobites are, since they are the largest in the world.
When we have passed through all the important places in the Arouca area, we will return to the starting point. In addition, we will send you the photos and videos that we will have taken during the activity so that you can take home the best of memories.
