Before venturing into the immensity of the Minho River, the guide for this activity will equip you with all the technicaland safetyequipment necessary for the descent. Furthermore, it will explain in all kinds of detail how to handle the oar and how to act in different situations. The goal is for you to have fun and not worry about anything!
Once you are ready, during the route you will face the waters of the River Minho, but in its calmest section. You will only have to overcome a few rapids, although their intensity does not represent any problem. The descent will take aroundtwo and a half hours, it all depends on the pace you set yourself.
Furthermore, during the route, you will have time to enjoy the views of the surroundings of Melgaço, stop for a swim in safe areas and enjoy every corner of the Portuguese river. Because this activity was designed for everyone!
Throughout the descent, the activity guide will be in charge of guiding you and taking photographsand recording videos. At the end of the route, you will be able to enjoy a surprise snack and a toast with Alvarinho wine.
