Do you want to experience the thrill of descending theMiñoat full speed? We suggest you spend an unforgettable day that will consist of descending the last stretch of the river, at full speed and aboard a rafting raft for 12 adrenaline-filled km. Does it sound great or not?
We will meet at the entrance to the Melgaço region, a beautiful town located in the north of Portugal and very close to the Galician province of Ourense. We will send you the exact meeting point up to one hour before starting the activity. We will go together, each one in his or her own vehicle, to the Freiria Reservoir, where the activity will begin and right there, we will leave you all the equipment necessary to practice rafting strong>.
This tour can be done only when the river has plenty of water. It will consist of 12 kilometers until reaching the Concello de Arbo, in the province of Pontevedra. Once there, having finished with rafting, we will collect the material and we will take you back to the reservoir.
To participate in the activity you do not need to have rafted before. Our instructor will explain everything you need to know before beginning the descent through the Miño. The only requirement will be that you know how to swim, since even if you have a life jacket, it is likely that changes in the river currents could cause you to take a dip, so don't forget to bring a clean change of clothes at the end of the activity.
If you plan to come with the little ones in the house, it is important that they are over 10 years old or over 1.40m in height. Furthermore, children will only be able to go downhill during the summer for a mere safety issue, from June to the end of September.
