Rafting on the Miño in the Freiria Reservoir 12 km

Do you want to experience the thrill of going down Minhoat full speed? We suggest you spend an unforgettable day that will consist of descending the last section of the river, at full speed and aboard a rafting raft for 12 km full of adrenaline. Does it look great or not?

We will meet at the entrance to the Melgaço region, a beautiful city located in the north of Portugal and very close to the Galician province of Ourense. We will send you the exact meeting point up to one hour before the activity starts. We will go together, each in our own vehicle, to Albufeira da Freiria, where the activity will begin and there we will leave all the necessary equipment for practicing rafting.

This tour can only be done when the river has plenty of water. It will be 12 kilometers until you reach Concello de Arbo, in the province of Pontevedra. Once there, after the rafting is complete, we will collect the material and take you back to the reservoir.

To participate in the activity it is not necessary to have done rafting before. Our instructor will explain everything you need to know before starting the descent through Minho. The only requirement is that you know how to swim, as even if you have a life jacket, it is likely that changes in river currents could cause you to take a dip, so don't forget to bring a change of clean clothes. at the end of the activity.
If you intend to come with your little ones at home, it is important that they are over 10 years old or over 1.40m tall. Furthermore, children will only be able to go down hills during the summer for safety reasons, from June until the end of September.
