This activity starts strong and big with a 4x4 jeep tour through the Paiva Valley, in the Portuguese municipality of Arouca. Rappelling is entertaining, you get an adrenaline rush and you also enjoy the wonderful landscapes that this site of the Arouca World Geopark offers us. With the company of one of our guides, we will be able to see some of the most emblematic and beautiful sites in the entire Paiva Valley.
Highlights include the Paiva Gorge, a segment of the Paiva River where the bed narrows and extends from the Alvarenga Bridge to Vau . You can also admire the magnificent Aguieiras Waterfall, formed by the waterfall of the Ribera de las Aguieiras. As the visit lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes, we will have time to see a panoramic view of the 516 Arouca Bridge, the largest suspension bridge in the world.
Our guides will help you get to know this area much better, so that it is not a boring visit and you learn very interesting facts. You will learn about the construction engineering of the bridge, as well as the biodiversity of the area and local legends. The minimum age is 6 years and we will take care of the necessary materialand equipment. In addition, we will make you a photo report so that you never forget this beautiful visit.
