Our qualified instructors will show you how to paddle, find your balance on the board and more of the fundamentals to help you travel confidently around the canals of Birmingham for 90 minutes.

We will quickly brief you on all the safety measures and the best ways to use the equipment which we provide, this includes the paddle board, paddle and buoyancy aid.

This is a unique experience that leads you around various local landmarks following the lead of your expert guide who will drop historical insights at each of the stunning sights while you get a taste of a potential future passion in SUP.

We make this session accessible to almost everyone, so it is not only exclusive to participants between 8 and 12; we also have prices over 13's to join in and make it a complete family adventure.

Do you want to see and experience Birmingham's famous canals? We have a perfectly peaceful and immersive way to enjoy the city's beauty with a Stand Up Paddle Boarding Taster Session that will quench your thirst for adventure for 90 minutes!

Under the guidance of a fully qualified instructor bursting with passion and enthusiasm, you will experience a unique tour of the canal's many noteworthy landmarks while learning to paddle, turn the board, stand and maintain your balance.

No experience is required, so this session is perfect for beginners, and your guide will tailor the perfect adventure to your ability level, one that is challenging and fun, with plenty of opportunities to learn about the local landmarks that tell a story of Birmingham's history and the city it has become.

We will provide all the necessary equipment, including the paddle board, paddle, a buoyancy aid in case you fall in and a semi-drysuit to minimise the wetness.

This session is aimed at participants 13 and older, but we have an equivalent price for children under 12 to make the experience more accessible.
