Not us! We’re committed to opening up the world of water sports to children and teens. We’re doing it one paddleboarding session at a time at our child-friendly flat water venue in Aberdeenshire, near Laurencekirk.
These sessions are one hour long and are suitable for children aged 8 to 16. They need to have adult supervision, but you can stay on dry land.
All equipment is included in the price, from paddleboards and paddles to life jackets and neoprene wetsuits. Your child should come wearing a swimsuit because we don’t have changing rooms on site and a pair of trainers or other appropriate shoes to wear on the board (and get wet).
We have a team of SUP instructors who are great with kids. They start the session on dry land, teaching the youngsters about the techniques, equipment and safety. Then your son or daughter will get onto the board, like a duck to water.
