Rivers and canals, lakes and lochs, and the open sea. But it’s important to know what you’re doing first! The sea in particular presents some conundrums for paddleboarders, which is why we put on SUP intro sessions on the North Sea!
Our destination of choice is Catterline Harbour near Stonehaven. It’s a beautiful natural area where rocky outcrops shelter the water from large waves and are fascinating to explore.
We can take six people on each session, with a minimum age of 12. This is the price for 12 to 16 year-olds. No previous paddleboarding experience is necessary.
You’ll meet your expert instructor at the shore, wearing a swimsuit and a pair of trainers already because we don’t have changing facilities. You’ll be given a paddleboard, paddle and buoyancy aid, plus a wetsuit if you’ve requested to hire one.
Then you’re off! Where will the adventure take you?
