10 things to do in Ciudad Real

1. Karting race in Ciudad Real.



Are you visiting Ciudad Real and already passed all the museums and monuments? The fun doesn’t stop there. At just several minutes from the center of the city, a day full of speed and adrenaline in a spectacular karts circuit is waiting for you. If you want to make clear who is the fastest, you can’t abandon the city of La Mancha without seating behind the wheel of one of these vehicles.

2. Horseback route in Las Tablas de Daimiel.



Cross the spectacular roads that are found in Las Tablas de Daimiel when riding a horse. Declared as National Park, its tremendous vegetation and rich fauna that goes through the whole territory, will make this route one that is worth it. Don’t think it twice and come to visit this natural sight located at just 30 minutes, by car, from Ciudad Real.

3. Kayak trip through the San Padro Lake.



Get surprised when kayaking through the San Pedro Lake. Its greenish waters, the vegetation, and birds that swim here to get refreshed are great excuses to stay amazed with the natural surroundings and habitat that grom from these Castilians lands. Also, near, you will find the emblematic San Pedro de Verona chapel.

4. Paragliding in Argamasilla de Calatrava.



Rich both in antique buildings and natural sights, Argamasilla de Calatrava invites everyone to have a great time. From the view perspective that a paraglide flight will give, from a considerable height, the most interesting points, like the megalithic grave, “Sala de los Moros” (“Room of the Moors”) or the splendid Lomillos lake.

5. Hiking in the Ruidera lagoons.



Nothing better than meeting a great place by just walking, and better if this one has routes ready to be walked on. Get away from the everyday life of the city and visit the Lagunas de Ruidera National Park. Its paths will take to places, so special like the Montesinos cave and Quebrada del Toro.

6. Dive in the Blanca lagoon.



If you think that diving was an activity only for the Spanish coast, you are wrong. IN the middle of the Ciudad Real region, we can find the famous Lagunas de Ruidera National Parl. This is a natural place consisted of different lagoons, like the Laguna Blanca, in which you dive and discover the richness in the waterbed.

7. Paddle Surfing in Malagón.



Only 24 kilometers separate you from the center of Ciudad Real and with the possibility of paddle surfing. Even if it looks impossible, in Castilla & La Mancha, there are areas in which you can practice this relaxing and fun water sport. But, where? In the Gasset Reservoir located in Malagón’s surroundings.

8. Bike route in Cabañeros.



Seize the day to the max, get on a bike and start paddling to cross the paths of Cabañeros National Park. Next to La Tablas de Daimiel is where the great natural sights of Castilla & La Mancha are. The path won’t be difficult thanks to the variety of the botanical species that grow and grow next to the pathways.

9. Paintball in Robledo.



Belonging to the region of Ciudad Real, the municipality of Robledo offer us the option of having a fun day, playing a paintball match with friends or family members. Get ready for a battle in which you can combine strategy, aim, eagerness and courage in a perfect place like is the land of La Mancha.

10. An off-road route through Malamoneda reservoir.



Enjoy a fun 4x4 route through the rocky routes of Horcajo de los Montes and end the journey in Malamoneda. The trip is worth it thanks to the views and sights that will be in front of you, and will confirm it once in the reservoir. In it, you will find the military elements from other eras, an establishment, and even a necropolis.
