We will begin our route in Playa de la Yerbabuena, in the town of Barbate, and after 6.2 km we will reach Playa from Caños de Meca. To get there we will cross the beautiful La Breña Natural Park.
We will go along the impressive vertical cliff of "Tajo de Barbate" which is located 100 meters above the sea.
You will have unparalleled views at all times in which the stone pine forest and the sea come together to have a dreamlike panoramic view. You will also be able to spot different birds such as yellow-legged gulls, jackdaws, rock pigeons, cattle grackles and black starlings.
It will take approximately 4 and a half hours, being a linear route suitable for everyone. We will ascend a gentle slope until we reach La Torre del Tajo, which was built in the 16th century.
Then we will continue to the Caños de Meca beach, where you can see the beauty of the lighthouse and the white sands. You can end your excursion with a refreshing swim on the beach!
