Spirit Kite School

Kitesurfing was invented by a Dutchman in the 70s when it occurred to him to use a kite to surf without having to wait for waves to catch them. Today it is one of the most popular aquatic activities on beaches around the world, especially due to its low learning curve. With the Spirit Kite School Kitesurf courses you will be able to prove it by doing a course that will take you from the level of a novice without any experience to a level sufficient to be able to kitesurf on your own, without the need for anyone's supervision. .

The courses are given at three levels:

- Initiation: this course is given on land, and is designed especially for people who have never kitesurfed. The main objective is that everyone ends up handling the kite and can get an idea of how it will have to handle once in the water.

-Baptism: in this course you will already have the first contact with water, also using all the material. The main technique that you will learn here is body drag. This technique is essential for kitesurfing since it is used to move through the water without the board (in case, for example, you have fallen and have to recover the board).

- Waterstart: the name of this course refers to the other great technique of kitesurfing. The waterstart is used to start navigating the board. Once you have mastered this and the turning technique, you will be able to kitesurf whenever you want.

Courses can be one day or several, for one, two or three people. At Spirit Kite there are also surf and snowkite courses (a sport similar to kitesurfing but practiced on the snow).

Surfing is a very beautiful and exciting sport to practice, but learning it is difficult if you do not have the right help. With Spirit Kite School Surf (located in Sant Carles de la Rapita, province of Barcelona) you can give courses that adapt perfectly to your level and that will help you improve your technique and become a true rider.

Courses can beindividual or in groups. All of them are taught by Spirit Kite instructors. These people are all graduates in their specialty, but in addition to that they are people who have a true passion for surfing. They transmit that love for this sport in each of their lessons, and their goal is that you too can surf and enjoy it as much as they do.

The courses can be:

- Initiation courses: These courses take place partly on land. They are aimed at newbies who have never surfed before (or have done very little). The swimming technique on the board and the way of standing on it are practiced. In fact, the objective of the course is that at the end of it the student can stand on the board in the water.

- Improvement: In this course you will be able to improve, perfect or correct any aspect of your technique that you consider necessary.
