10 things to do in Cataluña

Catalonia is one of the most important communities in Spain due to its cultural richness, gastronomy, the contrasts of sea, snow, salt, and fresh water, and everything else, it becomes one of the best places to practice adventure sports. Tarragona, Barcelona, Girona, and Lleida, are the perfect places to enjoy active tourism and live new and exciting experiences. Don’t miss any second of your time in Cataluña and erase from your list the 10 things we propose to do.

1. Helicopter flight through Barcelona’s skyline.



You will enjoy one of the most privileged views whilst crossing from the heights the Barceloneta beach, the World Trade Center or the Agbar Tower. With this helicopter flight, you will visit the main parts of the capital of Barcelona. The Sacred Family, the commercial port, Port Forum, Camp Nou or Eixample, will be one of the other points of your trail. It will be 10 intense minutes with which you get an incredible panoramic view of the city.

2. Go Rafting from Llavorsí to Sort.



Lleida, due to its orography, is a perfect place to enjoy adventure sports. Also, is one of the best zones to practice rafting in our country. For 18 kilometers, you will descend with a tire raft throughout the Noguera Pallaresa River in the router that goes from Llagorsí to Sort. In the raft can go up to 8 people, so is perfect to share the experience with the family or friends.

3. Catamaran Trip Through Costa Dorada.



We propose you to board one great adventure, from the Cambrils port. For 3 hours, you will navigate with a catamaran through the beautiful Costa Dorada, and also enjoy a succulent BBQ onboard and can even take a swim in the high seas. If you have decided to visit Tarragona during the Summer, this trip will be great.

4. Parachuting over the Bay of Roses.



Feel like having the world under your feet by free-falling from 4000 meters in height, from the Empuriabrava airdrome. You will discover why it is considered the best place in Spain to go parachuting. In addition to the excitement of the activity, you will have incredible views of the Gulf of Roses. Go get oxygen, because you'll be out of breath.

5. Go Jet Skiing in Port Forum.



Feel excitement in its pure state when driving a powerful jet ski from Port Forum. You will have 2 hours to cross Barcelona’s coast, and at the same time you can accelerate, do stops and even do some manoeuvres. The vehicles are two-seaters, so you can share the route with whoever you like.

6. Quad Route in Salou.



If you are in Salou and want to drive the inner parts of these locations and other near cities, whilst having fun with the world of engines, this quad route will fulfill all your alternatives. For 3 hours, a guide will take you to cross some of the best places with different types of terrains, so fun times are guaranteed.

7. Go Bungee Jumping in Sant Sadurní d´Anoia.



In Alto Penedés, you will have the opportunity of living one of the most extreme experiences in Barcelona, a bungee jump. You will jump from a height of 30 meters, and assure you that your scream will be heard in the next village. Also, if you are in the center of the city, you can take public transportation from Sants or Plaza Cataluña.

8. Visit Barcelona’s Old Quarter with a Segway.



It is increasingly common for tourists to choose the Segway as a means of transport to travel the city, leaving no corner to discover. These electric vehicles are very easy to handle, at the same time fun. Places like the Gothic quarter, the famous Port Vell, the unmistakable statue of Colòn, the colorful Parc de la Ciutaella or the essential Olympic Port, will mark your route.

9. Try the Wind Tunnel in Empuriabrava.



Surely, that you have heard about some of the activities of the moment and that is revolutionizing the market of adventure experiences. With the wind tunnel, you will simulate a parachute freefall from 4000 meters high. The feeling will be incredible, and you will have at all times the help and support of an instructor. If you are in Empuriabrava, but you do not dare to take the step of jumping on a parachute, the wind tunnel will be a good training.

10. Explore Organyá with a paraglide.



In Lleida, you will find one of the best areas to fly in paragliding, and enjoy a quiet and pleasant flight over the Alto Urgel region. It is a high mountain flight, about 800 meters high, which will give you incredible views of this area. And quiet, because the flights are tandems, guided by an expert pilot.
