Welcome to Discovery Surf School

We are a surf school located in Bigbury-on-Sea on the southern coast of Cornwall. Since our creation in 2002, we have prided ourselves on our top notch instruction.

Groups are always kept small, and we guarantee that you will be up and riding by the end of your first lesson!

We always have at least one coach for every six students. Our instructors are fully accredited by the Academy of Surf Instruction and cater to all age groups.

We work at two different beaches, Bigbury-on-Sea and Challaborough Bay. This gives us greater flexibility in finding the right location given current surf conditions and your ability level.

We supply equipment including:

Beginner Boards
Wetsuits
Intermediate Boards
Gloves
Boots
Hoods

In addition to our surf school, we now offer paddleboarding classes! Paddleboarding is a great alternative to surfing when the water is still, or for those who want to see the waves from a different angle.
