Exmouth Watersports

 Kayaking has been one of the favourite water sports in Exmouth (Devon) for years. That's why our school, Exmouth Watersports, offers tours and courses around the incredible 2-mile long beach, the Exe Estuary and the Devon coast to beginners and people with more experience alike. 

We have a range of sessions  and experiences, from 1-hour paddles that are ideal for families to private lessons to make your dream come true. And what is the result? A huge success! We are grateful to be located in a privileged seaside town which is considered the oldest in our county and is within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Jurassic Coast, a place that has 180-million years of history!

What else? The sandy beach of Exmouth is perfect for watersports because the sea that baths us is so calming and soothing, so you will feel like you're almost floating on Heaven.

Finally, we have to mention our experienced team. Our instructors have been kayaking for years or even decades and know all the tips to make you feel safe while having a memorable time in Exmouth. We're sure you'll be back to do more kayaking because this sport is addictive.

When will you visit us?

At Exmouth Watersports, we know windsurfing is a great adventure!  Although it's fantastic, it can be seen as a risky sport. But you don't need to be worried about anything because here in Devon, we offer courses for beginners and more experienced people to fulfil your dreams: from family sessions with a private instructor to weekend courses for beginners to 1-to-1 activities where you can enjoy the tailored coaching of your teacher. 

We use the calm waters of the Exe Estuary for our tuition. It's one of the best places in the UK to learn to windsurf. Our team of instructors is made up of watersports professionals! Among them is John, who is one of the owners of Exmouth Watersports and who has been windsurfing almost all his life.

Apart from that, our school is an active member of the Royal Yachting Association. The RYA, if you haven't heard of it, provides teaching, courses and everything that any watersport instructor needs to offer an effective and safe service. Children also have their place with us! You can enrol them in one of our courses!

Regardless of the option that you decide, you will receive a complete briefing on paddleboarding: from how to manage the board to advanced techniques like riding waves. Safety is assured because we are located on the calm waters of the Exe Estuary and our school belongs to the RYA (Royal Yachting Association). We guarantee that all of our instructors (among them you can find our company's founders John and Steve) have received the best training, so they'll have everything under control. In addition, equipment is included in our activities.
